:hello:

New house
New life
New room:smoke:

I stumbled upon a new home (for me) that is not close to other buildings, has a cool landlord that respects privacy (providing rent is paid on time) and best of all, one of the rooms has a sweet 50 amps going to it. Everything a good [del]grower[/del] renter could ask for

*short joint rolling interlude - Space Queen*

I've never had enough power to run my computers and grow in the same room before, this is frikin awesome. I love being able to glance over and see if my babes are ok.

Anyway, I'm a noob @ ebb and flow so figured why not document my fuck ups, the extra pressure might keep me more motivated...

Room specs:
Hydrohut tent 3.5ftx3.5ft
400/600 electronic ballast + 6" aircooled reflector
Standard 400w mh bulb, Hortilux 600w hps bulb
Vortex 6" fan
A/C in the main room, Temps are 72 - 81 avg 78 when light is on (f).
3x3 e&f tray
25 gal res
400gph pump
airstone in res
GH nutes a la Lucas formula
Sure to grow medium

Currently I have 6 white rhino that went through a rather negligent period. They went in the tray a few days ago, pics are from 1st day. They are already showing good signs of recovery :D I'm fairly sure there are at least 2 females in this batch judging from the lil white hairs showing. They're currently vegging to recover and then take clones from the obvious females.

Plan to do a 9 plant sog/scrog combo. Trying to keep the numbers down but going to use a screen and top the plants once.

Will update as time goes on, hopefully we can all learn something here...

I fucked up one set of clones which is why there are more than needed in the pics. The first 16 wilted massively an I didn't notice for a day, I kept misting them as they still seem alive and 2 of them popped very healthy roots after 11 days. There is also another set of 16 that look a little shitty but alive. The final set is yet another set of clones. As it has been a while since I cloned I guess I had issues but this last set appears perfect.

Should have the clones into main room within the next week. These are from seed so end product is unknown at this point.

Finally got 12 clones to root. Despite 8 of them wilting to the point where I thought they were dead, seriously resilient plant :) Clones are in sure-to-grow and it appears as though the medium work fine for rooting. Took 12 - 14 days for roots to show through. So far a 60% success rate but I expect the rest to show roots within the next week.

The rockwool clones were fresh 6 days ago, as I had to prune the moms I thought I'd just try and practice cloning.

And here we have the rooted clones in the 3x3 under a 400w MH. Was planning on a SOG but unless the other clones root quickly...

A really quick easy and cheap setup for my moms. I need to make a table to support the tray as it will make changing the res much easier but for about $60 and 45mins of time I can't complain :smoking:

Heya, thanks for stopping by! Sure to Grow seems nice so far although I'm not convinced for cloning. I found my 2nd set of clones were faster and more vigorous, however, the 1st set came from a plant that had been neglected a little.

I have just added another 6 clones and feel like I have enough to do my SOG grow now. I'm interested how the STG handles it.

And finally I think we have enough to do a SOG!!

I want to get a few nodes of growth before I flip to 12/12, maybe one week or so.

Bonsoir mes amis,

32 White Rhino clones @ day 1 of flowering.

Light is now 600 hortilux eye and I feel like it's a proper grow now I'm blinded when I open the tent :smoke:

Reservoir was drained and bloom nutes were added. I was going to do Lucas's method but decided fuck it and bought Advanced Nutrients.

Sensi Bloom A/B
B-52
OverDrive
Bud Candy
Big Bud
Final Flush

More than enough fresh air, the air cooled light is great, I can put my hand on the glass without it causing pain. Temps with lights on range from 78f - 82f which I am more than OK with all things considered.

Anyone have an idea of what yield this will pull? It's my first sog. I'm hoping to average 10g per plant and consider anything else a bonus (for this grow).

It's all very exciting especially as I may have screwed up and put male clones in there, arghhh...

Comments always welcome :)

Day 14, on day 21 currently and will post pics taken with lights off if I remember in time. Fairly impressed with the growth of everything so far. Would have liked some tighter internode spacing but oh well. Bud structure is definitely starting to show at this point. I 'feel' that it is a few days ahead of when I used GH products.

Hiya, yup Nirvana stock. A few of this seed batch looked a bit young (not fully matured seeds) but 8 popped and grew with 5 females amongst them.

I also have NL and Snow White to play with soon!

Hey and thx for the props on my setup!

2 weeks into flower I upped the nute to full strength (via Advanced Nutrients Calculator Nutrient Calculator | Hydroponics | Advanced Nutrients | Hydroponic Gardening). I top up the res every few days which drops the tds from 1300ish to 900ish over 7 days.

This is my first hydro grow in 6 years so it's still all coming back at the moment, and previously I used only GH and Botanicare products. AN is different, a little more awkward but hopefully worth the extra cost and effort.

In fact everything about this room is first. New house, new setup bla bla bla, first time using ebb&flow etc...

If you happen to see anything I'm missing or a better way of handling something please feel free to speak up, I always appreciate constructive advice/criticism.
