  1. 11. Move to a legal state like RI.........know what I'm sayin' free baby??:ey::ey::love::D

  2. Hey thanks Kinetic-

I was thinking of doing something like that, just cause I haven't been in the neighborhood too long, and people here really look out for each otha if you know what I mean.

  3. Rhode Island is for people who got kicked out of Massachusetts..... Just sayin.

  4. I know what you mean about people... I've only just had some busybody neighbors move out... this has given me the opportunity I've been waiting for for 3 years... now I'm almost ready to go and all I've gotta do is finish my setup and germ my seeds!

ONA Gel and some Ozium air spray for when you check in on yer closet / room / tent / whatever...

It will smell.. that stuff will nutralize it.. I'm telling everyone here that it's for the nutrient stink.. Nobody has access but me and nobody will say jack shit as long as I grow some peppers or tomatoes along with the MJ... They aren't plant experts and don't know the difference in appearance between squash and lettuce plants until there's a gourd hangin out under one plant and not the other...

  5. True that. If you knew how to drive, you were kicked out,....guilty :p Massholes,....they stick to ya like gum on your shoe........just sayin:D

  6. Haha yeah driving in Boston (and the rest of the state for that matter) is crazy.... I was proud of my home state when they decriminalized a few years ago, I guess Rhode Island has the upper hand on growing though.

  7. what advice would you offer to an absolute begginner who lives in the mostt densely populated city in the us???? would it be suicide to start a grow??? I mean the majority of my neighborhhod enjoys the enlightenment but i dont want to be arrested because of all the anal asshole(redundant, yes) laws we have. O and i live in a private house..................

  8. if no one knows its there........just follow the rules and you can grow in the back office of a police station. welll....that might be a little exterme , but you get my point. you aready follow the first rule , you own your home and if those who live there agree with your grow, the risk is understood and accepted. cops are not looking for small grows. if you are stupid and bring the cops into your house you get what you deserve. if you follow the first rule absolutely, and make sure everyone else who live there understands the stelth needed. you will have no problems.

  9. Yes, odour can give you away if you don't deal with it. Get a carbon filter. :) Of course it depends on your living situation, but if you have neighbours then you need to deal with the smell.

Dude, that should be the all time TOP way to stay safe. :hello: You got a spare room for Freedom? :D

Not at all, as long as you operate common sense. It'll be hard work at times tho, so make sure you are committed to the hobby before you start. :)

  10. A few additions to this good list:

    - Don't grow in a rented place. You don't control the setting the way you can in your own house. Your privacy rights as a renter are counterbalanced against the landlord's rights to protect his property. Tenants all around you mean less margin of error in dealing with odors and strange activities that go with growing. You probably are restricted in terms of ability to cut holes in walls, ceilings, and doors as well as in access to outside, attic, roof, etc. Your lease means the landlord can come in on short notice, or under some circumstances no notice at all.

    - If there are others in the house, don't grow unless all of them know about the grow and give explicit consent. Otherwise, you probably will get caught (by them if not by someone else) and you put them at unfair risk.

    - Corollary to 'do not deal' is do not give it away in any quantity either. Even if you give some away free, if that person gets busted and pressured to give up their supplier, guess who still is 'distributing'? You.

    - Don't use a credit card to buy seeds. Currently there has been only one case I am aware of where someone was actually busted for shipping seeds in, to date worst that happens is the beans get confiscated...but...seeds are illegal, and I do not want a permanent paper trail through credit card transactions, who knows what the future of law enforcement will hold.

    - Personally I will not shop in a hydro store. A cop with a bug up his ass to bust a grower has it easy -- all he has to do is stake out a hydro store and then either run the license plates or follow people home. No, that's not enough for a search warrant -- yet. But the problem is he now has you in his sights. Might walk the property, do a knock-and-talk, and easily can claim to have seen or smelled something (even if not true) and bust in.

Not everyone will agree with all of these points I am making. But turn it around -- do any of my ideas put you at more risk? Definitely not.

  11. I do. :) All excellent additions. I have been paranoid for some time about the hydro store and have heard one too many stories of people being followed home from them.

Thanks for your input toasty.

  12. Thanks Mr Bob and Freedom. Your assurance is assuring : ) Do you think seed companies disguise their products well enough to sneak it past.... oh lets say strict urban authorities like NYC customs?

  13. Seedbanks do ship discreetly. If Customs doesn't know what to look for then the seed package will blend right in. But if they are tipped off as to what that stealth packaging is then obviously they can do a hard target search.

Best that we do not discuss any details of stealth shipping on here. For all we know, Customs reads this forum, and we don't need to help them learn what to look for. Suffice it to say that it's discreet, it's nondescript, and it usually is disguised to look like something else mundane.

  14. hmmm thanks toasty for the info. I think i'll try it:devious:

  15. Someone asked me in a PM about having seeds shipped to your house and how the credit card charge from a seedbank will appear on your statement. I am answering here because in general I encourage folks to ask questions that could apply to many others here on the open forum rather than by PM. This way, the person asking the question gets the benefit not just of one person's answer but input from many wise growers, and also because this way many others can read and learn from the discussion.

    To my responses:

The credit card receipt will say whatever the seedbank inputs for it so say. The seedbanks aren't stupid, so they definitely won't put ILLEGAL MARIJUANA SEEDS on the charge record or outside of the package, but from there each one makes its own determination. Just like escort services appear on a credit card statement as "business services" or "transportation" or something vague and nondescript like that.

Yes, good idea to not have the beans shipped to the same place as your grow op. Why? Suppose Customs intercepts your package and sees that there is illegal contraband and has the ship-to address, and suppose that instead of the usual (confiscate the contraband and insert a letter saying that contraband had been seized and then forwarding on the package), suppose that for whatever reason they decided to bust you. They have the contraband and an address, guess where they are going to get try to get a search warrant for? Yep, that address. If your grow op is at a different location than where the beans were shipped then you potentially have another layer between you and a search warrant of your grow op space.

    Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the tips guys, toastybiz(or anyone who knows) i have a question for you if you wouldn't mind as you seem to know your fair share.

How risky is ordering online everything you need for a small grow op i.e lights/soil/pots/nutes/seeds,ect,ect.. to another persons address and then moving it the the growers address discreetly?
The bank card used would be also at the delivered address.
    Thanks.

  17. It's not clear -- who is at this other address? Do they know a shipment is coming? Or are you hoping to delivered somewhere they aren't expecting it and then intercept it yourself or retrieve it later?

  18. a private PO box is your best insurance at keeping orders stealth IMHO. if you friend knows they, may talk ( bragging is the normal culprit here) ...trust no one, that mat talk later.

Ben Franklin said it best .. "3 people may keep a secret, if 2 of them are dead"

  19. actually some really good tipsss thanks man + rep

  20. Sorry for being vague, the persons address is very trusted (close relative) and lives close and they have agreed for the equipment to be delivered their to pick up later.
