I have been trying to understand the Lucas Formula and the nutrient values as they appear on my meter.which is a Nutradip Trimeter continuous monitoring system

what i have is bag seed in the 3rd week of Veg under a 400 watt MH with a solar max veg bulb, temp in the room is set to exhaust at 85f and they are on a 18/6 light schedule. I am doing a continuous feed system with 6 buckets w/hydro-ton in 6" baskets, each bucket has it's own air stone as well as 1 in the reservoir which has a capacity to hold 10 gals while operating

What i have done is mixed up 10 gallons of bottled water, added 50 ml Of GH Flora Micro, and 100 ml of GH Flora Bloom.
I was under the understanding that the readings that i would see on my meter would be in the 492 range , that is with a .5 conversion

Now what i am actually seeing is PH 5.5, Nutrients 720 , Temp 72f

I have calibrated the meter with 1000 ppm solution approx a week ago. should i be checking the meters calibration or is this normal ?

Sorry for the dummy Questions but i am new to this whole ordeal and just trying to get a handle on what is going on with my lil friends

Is your meter a .5 or .7? Your numbers almost line up like you have a .7 meter. But it shouldnt matter. The 5/10ml/gal is for fluoro growing and 8/16 for HID growing I think. Let your plants tell you what they like. You can always cut it back with plain water.

Good Luck with your grow!

No the meter is a .5 i know the numbers aren't lining up, i even went so far as to recalibrate the meter last night after i made the post, seems it was a lil bit out but not that much

This morning my readings are

PH:5.7
Nutrients:630 ppm
Temp:69f

I am assuming i should be able to do the HID growing, i know it isn't a 1000 watt HPS light, but it is a 400 Watt MH with a proper veg Bulb.
I only plan on using the 400 for my veg stage then i am gonna throw either a 1000 watt HPS or a 600 HPS in the room for the flowering stage

0-5-10 in filtered water should come up in the 610-630 range @.5 conversion.
