RooR vs. Hurricane

Hi, I'm a new user here on grasscity, although I have been an avid toker for a while now, and I had a few questions that maybe someone could help me out with.

The other day I decided im going to finally throw down and buy me a nice RooR, zumo 4.2, but my friend arguably said that the hurricane bongs are better. I told him that I have never smoked out of a hurricane bong, but that I have smoked out of a RooR and that they are amazing.

Which is better? The Roor or the Hurricane, I would like to say its the RooR.

i have a roor and its the best peice ive ever smoked out of i love that thing so id say go with the roor

You're asking us to compare apples to oranges... but if that's an OG hurricane (can't imagine that it is) I'd go for it.

Roor is going to be the best bet for you. If you are buying it in a smokeshop, make sure you read the fake roor ID thread so you don't get jipped.

I've never smoked a RooR but I have had the chance to hit a Hurrican bong just like that one. They hit really nice and really smooth and it's cool as fuck to watch the smoke twist around, but the bowl was weird..it had a screen in it that basically WAS the bowl, that was really annoying.

I have to be honost as I have hit both and really its actually two different kind of hits entirely, theres actually no better then the other but more or less what you want out of the hit. Roors hit amazing but hurricanes/tsunamis have a hit all their own. It all comes down to personal preferance really.

Yeah. there isn't much of a difference.

Don't be fooled, Republic of Bongland the guys who make Hurricane bongs in Germany put out sick heady shit, including collabs with Roor (which i have pics of if anyone wants to see). So, they're both nice imo, and made of equal quality, but i would get the Hurricane(as long as it is Republic of Bongland and not the Basix model) over the Zumo if those were my only 2 choices.

I wrote to the folks at everyonedoesit.com about their hurricane bongs, as I'm interested in getting one, and thought after your advice I would search more into it. I asked them if they could tell me who the manufacturer of the hurricane bongs were. . and this was their reply...

Is grasscity's rep. of bongland brand? Otherwise where else to find one? I found a Germany website with them, but they wouldn't ship to Canada.

Hmmm, i wonder why edit won't give out the info. I'm sure there's are legit ROB's, you can see the symbol on all of them and nobody is counterfeiting those, that i know of. Yes, GC's is a legit ROB Hurricane, but it is the basix model. i think the basix is smaller, uses thinner glass, no symbol, and you can't get the different glass like frosted or golden. Still a pretty nice piece though, and at a decent price, imo...
