Hey guys, just wondering who else enjoyed the recently booming sport, long boarding. I rode high for the first time ever(too paranoid to ride high and blaze after riding instead) and I was able to maintain deep focus like ive never experienced while long boarding and pull off my first 180 powerslide (usually do coleman) off flawlessly after only a few attempts. I also could feel basically no where near as much pain as I usually do during falls and pushing up steep hills. The experience was amazing, I literally felt like I was actually "surfing" on pavement and I've been long boarding for over a year! It was unreal and probably one of the top 5 moments of my life. Just came back after a 4 hour ride and probably traveled about 15 miles total, it was a blast. Anyone else got stories?
Fuck yeah all we do here in Northern Cali is blaze and longboard. Crazy races and stuff goes down here
Nice man, i'm in Vancouver, BC, Canadq and it's very big here as well(dh races almost every month). We have Landyachtz and Rayne's main stores here and I always get killer deals and promotions when I go to there stores
I agree, I smoke before and while I longboard. My roommate races downhill, but 35mph is about my limit. My favorite thing to do is eat a bunch of edibles and shred parking garages. Unfortunately longboarding doesn't like me as much as I like it as I broke my wrist in the fall, and fucked up half my body about two weeks ago (broken metatarsal, and messed up arm) so I am becoming more of a cruiser. Either way there is nothing better then riding high. By the way I ride a Rayne Nemesis and a Kebbek Revenger, Kebbek FTW Landyachtz is gnarly to. I am not a big Rayne fan just got a free Nemesis when I snapped my Hellcat.
I love longboarding while stoned, especially in a nice and big sloped parking lot with lots of room for carving and sliding. It just feels amazing!

Longboarding and blazing go together so well. If it wasnt raining all the damn time here Id be longboarding right now.
I post on the local boards on silverfish to find people near me or find what other people think the places to be are.
i longboard high alot. its pretty fun, it usually involves alot of walking around my area though so i can only handle it for 20-30 mins before im exhausted.

Its to damn cold here in Illinois at the moment but I just started talking to an old friend who longboards and moved in right by my favorite stretch of road to cruise and he wanted to toke with me (he has never tried it before) and hopefully we will blaze and board soon.

I skate just about every day. I bought my board when I was visiting up NY. FL is pretty flat but head to beachside and there are some sick ramps, parking garages and smooth roads. We have to drive an hr or more south to Orlando or Clermont to bomb some hills. I fucked up my ankle as a kid and it's always been weak since, I'm not confident throwing it out too hard so until I get more comfortable and over the fear of being hurt I just enjoy the ride, carve and walk it. Just trying to get use to my new board, mostly learning to ride goofy and push from either side, standing in the front or back. Man I can't into riding switch. Can't wait for it to warm up to hit the beach. I'm tired of falling on cement, haha.
I started skating last summer n I really wana get a longboard now that I can just cruise around the streets on no hills or any shit like that would a longboard or cruiser be better for this Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
