What is swollen calyx?

  1. and what dos it look like? why does it happen?

i cant tell if i have seeds, or swollen calyxes, or mutated calyxes..on 3 different strains from 3 different sources, i have what look like tiny green/white seeds inside EVERY SINGLE CALYX. on one plant (la woman) it got so bad, that these lil things were poking out of the calyxes with the pistils sticking out of these things, i hope i explained that right.

they have been thru plenty of stress(moving from house to house twice in 3 separate occasions, during the plants' dark cycle. yes, i did find like one pollen sack. ive been looking at the plants all day everyday and only found one on the la woman. but i would think even a few sacks wouldnt be enough to pollinate every last pistil on a rather large plant(as i mentioned before, EVERY SINGLE calyx has this little seed thing in it).

i took clones from the plants wen they were at 1-2 weeks flowering(theyre at 5 weeks now)
i started flowering those a couple days ago to see what would happen, and the little seeds things are even in the preflowers of the clones!!! HELP PLZ

are these little things supposed to be there????

Haven't we discussed this a few times? If you take cuts from the plants with the same mutations, you will likely get the same results. Start new seeds or get all new cuts of another variety and see if that works out. I have had this happen on a few strains so don't get discouraged.
And swollen calyx often refers to just increased growth and resin development on the calyx. What you are experiencing is swollen ovums or perhaps immature fertilized ovums.
    Peace

  3. yes weve discussed it, but there are many ppl on this site. im lookin for second opinions. kinda like goin to diff doctors for an uncommon illness. again ur explanation best describes it, but im finding it hard to believe that its genetic. their source is reputable..go anywhere on this site. A LOT of ppl grow seeds from the attitude seed bank. the chances of my 3 different strains having the same mutation due to genetics seems almost impossible. esp from breeders like barneys farm and big buddha.
