Halo Reach Beta code tutorial

Microsoft ExpertZone - Language Selection

Select country as United States.

Sign in with a Windows Live ID (it's a MS site I'm not trying to phish you) and create an account. This is a retail thing so make everything up.

IMPORTANT FIELDS:

Phone numbers: They must follow a format of nnn - nnnnnnn that's 3 numbers in the first box, 7 in the 2nd.

Company name, type in B and wait for it to suggest best buy or something and choose it.


You'll get a email, confirm your account and sign in to the thing.
Then goto Xbox and games > Xbox Games.

Choose Halo 3 ODST and take a test or something it's called.

You then have to answer some trivia questions after skipping some questions. DONT GUESS, you need like 100%. Wikipedia helps


After your done goto:
Microsoft ExpertZone - Language Selection

Then click the goto Retail HQ thing. and you *SHOULD* see a enter your email box and once you plop your email in there I got a code instantly.

so....is this for people who have ODST or don't have ODST? because i thought they just send the code to everyone with ODST or something on May 3rd?

You don't need ODST for it.

I just tried to get my friend a code using that site, and it wasn't sending out the email. They've been updating this site every 10 mins all night and this is all its been doing -.-

Damn, just noticed the "not working" text. Maybe they got suspicious as to why so many best buy employees suddenly decided to learn more about Halo

Yea, they've been doing updates all night. Every time they do one of these updates on their servers it corrupts the email sending address on the site, and they haven't fixed that yet.

Oh I was a bit late then.. can anyone PM me the actual link so I can save it in case it works again later?

Yeah, that's the home page and the exact same link in the original post.

Thats because the original link is down so it redirects. http://expertzone.microsoft.com/halo and then and .aspx at the end of it.
