After a very morale-degrading year-long plague of spidermites I inherited by foolishly accepting a gift of clones (and mites!) from a friend, I decided to chop everything and start over my growing career. So, over a month since I've had a plant in my growroom, I've received my seed order, and I'm ready to start growing!

Yet again, I'm very happy with the Seed Boutique, for their great selection from great breeders, prompt shipping, and best of all, Freebies!

I ordered Nirvana's White Widow, and Master Kush

as a freebie, I got Mandala Safari Mix (5 seeds)

I've started germinating 5 of each, and am very excited to have life in my growroom once again. I'll be keeping everyone updated!

Hey man!

Yeah, it sucks to lose all my strains, but it's gonna be so much better to have a clean, bug-free grow. I'm gonna have to order another pack of NPP soon, I already miss it.

I got the widow because of you're recommendation, and the kush because I love kush. :D

As for what method I'll be using... I'm just gonna make it up as I go along. we'll see what kind of germ rates I get and all that. I'm planning on vegging out the seeds till I can take clones and sex the plants, find out what I'm working with. I want to try my hand at making some more seeds as well, because my last little experiment didn't work too well, I got a bunch of good-looking seeds, with terrible germ rates. I'm also very interested in a Kush x Widow cross.

I'm starting fresh, so I'm up for any suggestions as to how to grow these, but they'll probably get some sort of E&F and/or aero setup.

I've kinda scavenged over my tubes for parts, and it'd take a bit of work to get them working properly again... I think I'll probably be using an aero setup this time around, once I go to flowering. I'm pretty sold on it's benefits.

haha, I saw that about the widow, too. It probably grows really lanky outside in full sun.

I'm germing 5 of each strain right now, so I've got a couple back-up seeds if something goes awry. I'd like to get at least one male and one female of each, and I'll be a happy camper. :D

about 17 hours after I put them in their paper towels, most of the seeds are nice and swollen, a few have parted shells, and one even is showing a tiny tail. :D

I love professionally bread seeds.

Yes, again :hello:....sCrIbEd for this one too. I was bummed out you got the spidermite invasion last time, I wanted to see your aeroponic system in action. I also wanna see the white widow, I'm looking to grow a white widow strain sometime down the road just don't know which breeder to go through.

Anyway grow on bro....hope you got those spider bitches cleared out.

Yep, all these seeds are nice and fat, just how I like them. I'll snap a picture soon. Pretty sure I'll be getting really good germ rates.

Yeah, mites are terrible. My advice to anyone that has them is to finish up any flowering plants and chop everything. It's the only sure-fire way to get rid of them.

I'm fairly sure that I'm 100% mite free now. I havn't had a plant in the growroom in over a month, and I've bombed and sprayed the crap out of the empty room when I cleaned it out.

I guess only time will tell.

I've got R/O water this time around, so we'll see if that makes much of a difference in the growing. It's good peace of mind, anyhow.

yeah, I never had any definitive problems with tap, but I thought it was finally time. Got a 100GPD system to my door for $120 from e-bay. I've just been using it for drinking water, it's much better tasting than the tap, even though I don't mind drinking tap water at all.

A good investment, but not 100% necessary, IMO. We'll see if it makes growing easier or not...

well, a little over 24 hours after my seeds arrived, 10 of the 15 I've started germinating have poked their taproots out, and have been transplanted from paper towels to Rapid Rooters.

So far, the count is;

5/5 Master Kush
3/5 Mandala Safari
2/5 White Widow

The rest of the seeds are looking primed to sprout soon as well. :D

Daaannng, my tap must be special or somethin, mine measures around 30-50ppm. I should just switch, just when I look at the water, it looks not clean, but my meter says it's pretty clean.

I dunno though, good shit though nugs, lookin forward to watchin these ladies grow.
