Same room I used last time this is a 4' x 4' room with a 80 CFM exhaust and small opening for make up air. I have CO2 injection from a tank set up at .4CFH for 3 hours before my light kicks on and then every other 15 min during the light cycle. I am useing a 1000W Hotilux Super HPS, with an air cooled hood. There is an intake to the hood from outside the room and an exhaust of 250CFM. All of the exhaust is filter with a canfan carbon filter for smell. There is a 1500 W electric ceramic heater to keep the room above 60 degrees at night, and I have no cooling except for exhaust so temperatures often climb into the 90s. The humidity usually rises at they get further into flowering and I have a dehumidifier to keep it below 70% (to prevent mold and condensation).

I am using a rumple style bubble bucket system with two buckets interlocked with a third bucket as a reservoir. Each bucket has it's own pump (even the res) with a large flat airstone. I was so impressed with Advanced Nutriance on my last grow that I am going to invest even more money in their products this go around.
Sensi Bloom part A&B
Nirvana
Bud Candy
Bud Blood
Big Bud
Sensizyme
Overdrive
Final Phase
All used per the manufactures recommendations.

I have one Greenhouse Seeds Super Lemon Haze and a DNA seeds Blue widow, they both started flowering on 03/05/2010.

The other one that is ready to harvest this weekend in front is a Sour Cream in soil started flowering on 01/10/2010.

I am running at 900ppm and ph of 6.0 right now with a res temp of 60 deg.

Thank you for stopping by. I chopped down the giant cola this weekend I will have to get some harvest pics of it up. It's a sour cream plant and stinks like sour d. The cola when all trimmed was about 2 feet long with a 4" diameter. I can't wait to see what it weighs dry, I am thinking about 2zs. The other two are filling in the screen nice.

I see why they call you the Gardenmaster, you mastered that one. The cola is huge. Very, very nice.

Trying to decide what strain to go in a ScrOG so was checking your SLH out. Looks like they are coming on along. Great grow. :hello:

Thank you for stopping by, don't screw up like I did.... install your screen before you move in your plants. I lost one of my biggest tops when the screen fell down with a 2x4 on it during installation.

I have been growing for about 12 years, but this is only my 2nd scrog, I found it a necessity with more sativa dominant strains like SLH. Check out my last scrog it was a SLH and Jack Flash, both of them went way past my expectations for yield.

I'm in a tent, so I'll just buy the screen designed for it but yeah, that sucks so I'll defo install the screen before the plants go in ;)

Hey GM. I have a few noob questions.

If your girls are in flowering, why run the ppm's that low?

If the ideal ph level for hydro is between 5.7-6.1, why run so close to the top?

I know that all strains have different nute tolerances. My girls were real sensitive in the beginning (unknown strain), but now they are lovin' the 1100 range. They are 57 days old (10days flowering). Always in search of knowledge. :D

I try to keep my PH at 5.8, but it usually climbs up on me, and with the SLH it tends to burn the plant at about 5.5 so if I error it's usually on the hight side. The magnesium lock out if it gets to high is way easier to spot and correct than when it locks out Nitrogen and usually kills all the leaves overnight (at least with SLH)

My PPM is up to 1100 now, I usually start at 800 the first week of flowering and increase it gradually to 1400 at week 6 and then add just tap water to top it off for weeks 6-8 lowering th ppm back down to about 800, then I flush the last two weeks.

I think your doing great at 1100 one week into flowering as long as they don't show any stress, I would keep it there.

I am going to bump up my CO2 to .5 CFH and add some B-52 to my Nutriances. Currently they are drinking 20 liters every other day and to the 20 liters I am adding:
50 ml Sensi Part A
50 ml Sensi Part B
20 ml Senszime
20 ml Nirvana
20 ml Bud Candy
100 ml Big Bud
15 ml PH down

this week I will be adding
50 ml B-52

I will try to get some new pictures up tomorrow.

Good morning GM.

Things are looking nice bruh. I appreciate that ph explanation. Had to put that one in my notes. I decided to do some trimming man. There were some branches at the bottom that really needed to go. They were coming out at the base, stretched aaaalll the way to the sides restricting my air flow at the base of the plants.

I really wish I know what strain this is. The look to be indica from there leaves. They say indica's doesn't do alot of stretching or bushing! My cab is 3 feet deep and 4 feet wide. If you look at the pics there isn't much room left :D. Thanks for your experienced advice brotha. Your garden looks nice and healthy.

Just another quick not on my PH I only add PH down very slowly and never use PH up, if you use both they make a salt in your buckets.

I think your grow looks amazing, you can't really tell the strain but it looks like a good indica / sativa mix.

I am still learning to, every grow it seems like you learn something different. I have just grown more indica dominant strains in the past (mostly NL#5 x Skunk #1) and have just in the past year started to try sativa dominant strains and they are so different, I am always looking for advice as well. I have a super silver haze in veg right now and I don't know WTF im going to do with it, it grows like 3 inches a day and it's all lanky, I don't have anywhere big enough to flower it.

First let me thank you for that complement.

I'm glad you said that about ph up and down. I had to do that with this last batch of add back water. I will make sure not to ever ever do that again :o.

They say indica's are the best for indoor grows. Is this true per your experience? People also told me that indica's don't bush well (:devious::P:D). Looks like I lucked up getting a strain with a good mix.

From the pics that you post and the comments you made says you have more than a few grows under your belt. Which style grow do you prefer, soil or hydro?

I used to grow in a small room underground with a 4' clearance and so the indicas worked perfect, because I could only have 2' tall plants, until I got busted in 2002 when my electrical bill went down because I was between grows (I was only running 2600 watts). But now that I'm all legal I have a little more room to grow, so with an 8' ceiling I can have plants that are almost 5' tall so there's room for the sativa heavy SLH and Jack Flash. Indica's bush well if you train them right and it seams like anything grown in a bubble bucket bush well.

I prefer hydro over soil for all of my flowering plants, and soil for my mothers to keep the growth slower. The only thing I don't like about hydro is the time it takes to maintain (I need to work on automating my feeding) and because the plants grow 2X as quick problems show up 2X as quick.

I couldn't have say that any different from how you just stated it..............I feel the same exact way! I have an idea of a way to make that somewhat possible. Do you mind if I PM you about it?

I have 38 inches of finish grow space using a 400watter in my cab. So with that said then I will stick with indica or mixes indica dominated.

Thank you for stopping by, I love the AN. I just changed to them last year after almost 10 years with GH. I figured if it's not broke why fix it, but when I changed my yield shot up, so I am now a big fan (I was only using the three part and Bud Candy). The genetics are identical on the SLH to my last grow so I will be interested to see if all of their additives really do make a big difference like they say.

I am keeping an eye on your grow, very impressed so far. Shoot me a PM anytime.
