Buying a bong online in NSW, Australia

I'm in NSW Australia and am interested in buying a bong over the net, however am worried that it could be a bad idea, having heard rumors about police tracing the packages back to people's homes and raiding them. Does anyone have a link to the laws regarding bong (water pipe as they'd probably say) possession in NSW? Or is there anyone here who has found themselves in a similar situation?

I've ordered from offyatree, bongsnthings, EDIT and Grass city. All have come completely fine. GC ships in 4 - 7 days, EDIT is usually 3 - 5.

Next order will be off Ziggi, splitting a free shipping order with a mate, so hoping that will get in fine. That will kinda be a lot....

See, I thought that they were illegal too, but then again I bought one from an actual shop here, so meh.

I'm pretty sure the waterpipes(bongs) themselves are not illegal at all,
the headshops in WA say they're ornamental

seeing as i didn't know anyone,
and didn't know how to get the ganja

Waterpipes for smoking tobacco are legal, there's a lot of issues displaying them. Off ya tree display some, but barely any.

Go into any smoke shop/tobacconist and ask to see their bongs. 99% have a cabinet or a draw behind the counter full of them.

Stay away from MWP or Magic Water pipe if you can. They have some interesting designs, but stupid stem lengths and shotty positions, and terrible TERRIBLE thin glass, as in it breaks if you pull the grommet with your finger too hard.

Try and stick to Agung, they are all labelled on the glass.

Alternatively, and what I reccomend, buy yourself something off EDIT or GC. If you want a good snapping bowl that replicates Aussie cones, get the Molino small or medium cups on GC. They're like $7, and yeah perfect snap holes. Make sure you get a 18 - 14 stem or a reducer for them tho, most bongs from online come with 18.8 bowls with massive holes that need gauzing.

It's been over half a year, and no visit from my local law enforcement. So i think it's fine. They can't legally do shit unless the bong rocks up with resin in it. It's just glass artwork/tobacco water pipe/oil pourer/vase.

Thats right in australia ita just art , to be displayed in.your home , untill its used , not illegal to sell water pipe as vases , and the local head shop throws in the cone piece free to prevebt any australian.law troubles , gotta love australia , ive gotten crazy things threw customs ,

In Aus most asian deli's will have a few hookah's on display, just ask for a special bong.
