Bluish Green spots in my ash?!

So the other day I smoked a bowl with my roommate finished it and put the bowl down. When i went to pick it up and pack another little later, I looked to check see if it was kicked. Then looking down i noticed that speckled threw were dots of like blueish green color, kinda like the color of miracle grow. showed it to my roommate she thought it was weird too. we thought maybe something got in to it or in to the bowl. Then last night i was smoking a bowl of the same weed out of my chillem and noticed it happen again. has this happened to anybody else? I'm a little nervous some shit got sprayed on it or something. pretty dank nugget get it from a good friend who i know always has good stuff. I've been sick the last week so my smell and taste are all fucked. my other roommate said it smelled weird to him. does anybody know whats going on.

i completely forgot about this until i saw your post. a few months back i picked up some dirt to practice rolling. rolled a j and the ash had lime green spots in it. definately had me worried but it didnt mess me up or anything. glad it hasnt happened again though

Thats something they put in that dirty jersey weed. Blue resin..come on.

the color of ash supposedly shows how well the bud was flushed by the grower.
if its not a clean super white, they flushed it wrong and has reminents of the chemical grow agents used. Not that bad, but gives it a funky taste, and ur smokin some chemicals.
I learned this from a trustworthy internet source (which is an oxymoron)
so i take it for what it is.

This is correct. Unless it's wet, clean bud will burn to grey/white.

Thanks guys. Yeah that's what i figured it was, but wasn't sure. not too stoked on smoking some chemicals but it's what i got ain't gonna waste money.
