I am interested in growing Blue Cheese. I have seen a handful of Blue Cheese clones floating around the Denver area dispensary scene. Have any of you guys/gals grown this indoors? Any tips/comments about the strain? Some strains benefit from advanced growing techs such as super cropping, fimming, and topping. Does Blue Cheese benefit from this? Also, I've seen some seed banks boasting of 500g per plant yields with Blue Cheese. Has anyone experienced this kind of yield?

Thanks for any and all info that you may have!

i had some barneys farm blue cheese seeds, grown in bio bizz all mix soil and bio bizz nutes, under 400 watts hps, i topped the plant when it had 3 leaf sets and it got really bushy. i have a 2 x 4 tent and its pretty much out grown the tent i lsted a few branches and even took a few off to give them more room to fill out, i just started flowering so im not sure on yield yet but im thinking it'll yield atleast 4 or 5 oz's

Are you saying that you expect 4-5oz of manicured bud? Or 4-5oz of...?

I've heard it'll yield 500 grams of manicured product. What have you guys experienced as finished yield with blue cheese?

Haven't harvested yet... but at little over 7 weeks now.

My Barney's BC is a very stretchy girl topped her once and she still kept going.... she would make a great plant for a SCROG... but from what I've seen it all depends on what pheno the cut is.

i think your yield is going to depend on your conditions. if your using a hydro set up with alot of light and good temps and ph and all that a pound a plant is definently possible. if its your first grow then 500 is probably a little high

I use it in a ScrOG situation and it works real well....real hardy strain.

I am definitely going with SCRog when I grow this. I plan on using Vic's Super Soil. I've been told that there's no need to use additional nutes with this soil mix. Has anyone had any experience with that?

Any soil that offers "no additional feeding" is far too hot for my liking. I need to know what my plants are getting and how much of it, instead of a guessing game. That way if a problem arises I can pin-point more easily what it needs. Less variables present with a neutral substrate and measured feedings.

I LOVE blue cheese. Not just the weed, but the actual cheese too (mainly rosenborg lol).

Here is my deli-ma... I don't want to grow weed but I want to know someone who does so I can buy it from them. It's really hard to find some around here.. don't know any of the right people. But I make a lot of money and smoke a lot.. any ideas for meeting a grower in my area?

Looks amazing ghostly & newgrown, really getting me excited for my BF Blue Cheese :D. I find that LEDs in flowering can help keep plants from stretching; my BC is at 7 weeks veg and it's only about 18" but really bushy. I've started super cropping her and she really seems to like it.
