Anyone beat this? I know its not glass if i had the equipment it would be though, 70cm tall didnt want it to be silly big, percolator, ash catcher and ice catcher. The mouth end is folded over for extreem comfort :) In my opinion i couldnt go and buy anything acrylic ans nice as this or as smooth as this without emptying my wallet seeing as this cost me all of £4.50 for the tube.

Ill put up a milk shot when im not dry. Which is now on the second page :)

I know it ooks like that on the outside but its just the thickness of the acrylic theyre just right for a medium sized ice cube. It is very smooth, theres a bit of drag with the ashcatcher on but thats how i like it, if you pull off the ashcatcher is incredibly easy to clear.

Nice homemade! Where did you get the acrylic tubing if you don't mind me asking... (price in £s so assuming UK) B&Q, Homebase...? And what is the tubing actually sold as. Was looking into doing something similar.

lol thanks so much for all the responses :)

As for the tube, I had real trouble finding the tube managed to get it from my uni but the second best i can think of would be ebay meter for a tenner if i remember correctly, its acrylic tube.

Belive me i wish i had something to make a milk shot with :(

was it a perfectly cylindrical tube when you started? how did you form the shape to accomodate the hole? used heat to melt it? im missing something.

Lol, ok from the top, i got a metre long Completely streight smooth pipe, i cut off 30cm. Put in the perc, heated up the tube over an electric stove and squashed it at a right angle. Then i did the three dimples for the ice catcher one at a time by again heating it up and pushing it in with rounded spike. The mouth piece i heated it up and folded it over, with my hands which hurt :( bad idea.

Oh and the base is actually the cut off from the tube i split it and put it in the oven till it flatened.

Happy to answer any questions.

how did you make the percolator? this is tight. maybe a step by step? BTW everyone, craft shops usually have clear tubes like that. i saw someone asking. Oh and what was used for the ash catcher?

Wow thanks yeah craft shops would be a good bet. The percolator is a platic test tube put into a bottle bung (the pink think) stuck into the thickest hardest bottle i could find then put in an acrylic end cap that i frosted. The ash catcher is the best shaped thick hard bottle i could find in the supermarket with thin acrylic tube welded to it as the slide into the main bongs downstem. The lid of the ashcatcher has a ruber seal fixed inside it so the downstem can be slid out or the lid can be unscrewed for cleaning. Finally both of the downstems ive turned into diffusers.

Lol i think thats about it, maby ill do a crapy paint instructions when im not to bussy :)
