So they did away with my thread about appreciating brunettes.... (loved that thread)

So i decided id make another one targeting something a little different.

You see when im driving down the road and a sad song plays on the radio, or i hear it on tv, or at a party, thres allways certain songs that just kill me...

Its like they make memories pop into my head of the past, me and my ex...

She isnt around today, sad to say we are driftin further away as the years pass but its like my undying love for her wont ever fade...

I kno that i cant be the only person in the world that has this happen to them...

I was gunna see if you guys would comment on this and maybe post up some songs that made you feel like this.

Im a big fan on good written lyrics and songs of raw emotion so i would really appreciate some new material...

Songs:
Goo Goo Dolls - Name
Pearl Jam - Black
Edward Mccain - ill be
Oasis - wonderwall

Just about any song with real raw emotion, its easy to tell when the writer / composer really means what they are writing about. its like you can hear it in their voice.

Thanks to all who read this and post on this thread
A lot of the time its not easy going on, but you gutta...

We used to listen to this song a lot....back in the summer of 2008...that was a great summer. So sad how people change. Anyways, that songs brings me to tears everytime I hear it.

Angel by Aerosmith...

My ex was in jail when this came out and he wrote to me telling me about it. I heard it a couple days later on the radio and it made me cry. My real name is Angel. He's since passed away, and every time I hear this, it still makes me want to cry :(

Zong, brotha, you gotta quit threads like this bro. Your startin to make me think about my ex which I feel I've come way too far to break down now and try to call her. They're ex'es for a reason. Anyway I feel what you're sayin man, I have a few bands I rarely listen to just cause it was bands we discovered together and to know she's out there sharin that with some other fuck hole doesn't really make me feel very good. <<<< god I sound like a little bitch right there.

This band is one we found out about together and pretty much the whole album is our thing together...god damn, I hate her, i have to hate her.

All them dumb ass lady gaga songs she liked. I think I fucked her to "poker face" About 20 times. My ipod would always be on random (had about 2000 songs) and that song would always always ALWAYS pop the fuck up.

Oh well, it made her "move" better when she was on a top, but still!

Never letting a woman put music on my ipod again.

Fistful of Sand by The Bravery, aaand Tragedy Bound, also by The Bravery, they could totally be about her.
And I guess Lean on Sheena by The Bouncing Souls as well, even though the song isn't ruined for me because of it.
