I feel the same way. I'd love to live on a commune or do something kick ass like that for a while. I'm a very open minded and free spirited person who would love to take on a trek as such but society has molded me enough to make me want to go to college and get a real job.

Look up Goa. I don't know much about it, but its a part of India where alot of serious hippies gather to live peacefully.
