I had a Dee Lee for a while and it hit really hard but it broke at the joke after I guess I put too much ice in it. I learned why I liked ice notches that day. The bowl and downstem that came with mine sucked pretty hard though.

i just bought my first dee lee the other day, a 2012 14 inch beaker base with an ice disk and diffused downstem for $60. they were made in trail, oregon, about an hour into the hills from where i live, the guy that made these just retired at the age of 74 i believe, he was one of the firsts out there like snodgrass.
