I think ingesting marijuana without smoking will help produce brain cells. Smoking is bad whether its marijuana or oregano, but since you dont smoke edibles then maybe they do make you smarter
To those of you saying it makes your short term memory go to hell: Are you aware that many (all?) studies that have looked into this have shown the short term memory effect to only happen while you are high? In other words, while you are baked, you are not storing short term memory as well but the next day, short term memory is fine which has been my experience. I smoke daily and my short term memory is as good as ever and I am in my 50's. Many studies of long term cannabis users has shown them to have no ill effects in their memory.
