Highest Quality Grinder?

  1. :confused_2:I'm looking for the best grinder out there. I currently have a sharpstone 4 peice and while its a good little grinder, I'm not crazy about the aluminum teeth that do the actual grinding, they aren't hard enough and eventually get dulled and do a poor job of grinding my buds. I've looked but couldn't find anything and was wondering if anyone knew of a grinder with steel teeth or atleast a higher quality aluminum that is harder or coated with something to make it harder?
    Thanks

  2. Go to grasscity.com you will be sure to find a nice one there, such as a space case

  3. I have this exact grinder. It is hands down the best grinder on the market and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Titanium coated with a heat treated titanium alloy.... it doesn't get any better than that.

  4. Mendo Mulchers

I lost mine but I am going to be buying a new one soon.

  5. not to dis or anything but how does weed dull aluminum, that doesn't make sense. Are you trying to grind rocks??? On a serious note, what more do you want from a grinder? They all grind your stuff up to a powder if you grind long enough.

  6. I'm not complaining , the sharpstone is a great grinder that I did get alot of use from, but it does over time get dulled, aluminum is a relatively soft metal. It still gets the job done and grinds the weed up well but with more effort than it used to. And sinces the buds aren't being as cleanly cut apart and more are less ripped and pulled apart I'm getting alot of thc build up on the top 2 peices of my sharpstone and that means less on my bud. I do clean it regularly and get all the left overs, but would just rather step up to the ti coated space case. :smoking:

  7. word, i'm just jealous because i had to fix my wooden grinder with some small nails. lol

  8. Why buy it from grasscity.com? It is all they way in Britain... There are many domestic sellers of space case grinders.

  9. I will definetly order from someplace closer, even see if the local headshops have. Link is just to show the model I'm intrested in.

  10. i like to use my coffee grinder way faster to roll a blunt with

  11. hell yeah and it builds up mad kief

  12. I'm a huge fan of my 4 piece 3" Kannastor, it kicks some serious ass. I've never had a problem with it even when grinding like 3 grams of the dankest dank. The teeth are bomb shit!!

  13. I've had both sharp stones and chromium crushers. Both held up great to all the "usage", and the keif is always a great thing.

  14. First of all, at least Craftsman are made in the USA rather than China. Second, a grinder as you describe is high-speed and not too good for sharpening blades and chisels. You can easily ruin the steel by either ruining its temper or taking off too much metal. However, if you really want one, just remember that all a bench grinder is is a large motor that spins a grinding wheel. Look for one used and make sure to plug it in and turn it on. Make sure it speeds up smoothly, look at the wheels for wobble, listen for any funny noises (it should purr like a kitten), and after you turn it off and let it stop, grab the wheels and jiggle them a bit.

  15. Space Case is the way to go! My medium 4-piece is going 2 years strong works like the day I got it (Titanium version btw). Shreds even undercured, wet weed in just a few twists.

  16. Compton grinders. Hands down. Look up the thread on here about em

  17. Santa Cruz shredder 4 piece best investment $75 get a black one so u can easily see you kief build up !

  18. just like any grinder?

  19. Just know that it's not a TI grinder. It's just has a TI anodized paintjob to help it from rusting/metal shavings.

    It's still am aluminum grinder.
