My plants are in five gallon containers how much water do I use to flush them before their harvest? Do I flush two weeks before havest?
Yes for the last 2 weeks of your flowering cycle you should only be feeding them h20. you will know when it's time to chop 'em down when they begin to have a gold-ish/orange glow
i agree also you might want to start the flush by putting 2 times the pot size of water through them to move all residual ferts out.
To flush you should run pH-adjusted water through at least 3x the volume of the pot, so in your case that's 15 gallons apiece. And use magnification to examine the trichomes to tell when to harvest, don't go by the outward color/appearance of the plant.
If you don't want to wait 10-12 days of giving them only water go to the store and buy some royal flush. It is $9 and flushes your plants in 2-3 days. It is not called royal flush. different companies call it something different but it works.
??? Is it called royal flush or isn't it? Either way, there is no need to buy something special for flushing. Flushing is simply a process to rinse or wash the soil of extra ferts, salt build-ups, and other waste matter by running a lot of water through.
I call it that as a basic name since each company calls it something else. It is called Florakleen flush for GH products. They all do the same thing, flush. You all should try it because you can also give it to your plants monthly to assist in removing salts building up and locking them up.
