Everyone is lazy and afraid now!

  1. I haven't smoked in a while because if I get caught, I can get in a ton of trouble at school(yes high school, I am a senior and am 18, dont bring that shit up here). No one is willing to do anything about the crap that goes on though, whether it be in the real world or small shit. Everyone's motto in today's world is "Do what you are told". I got yelled at by my teachers today because as part of gym class, we were told we "must" do ball room dancing. Well I told the teacher its stupid that this is part of a class to keep us fit. Ha fit, half the kids are rounder than a basketball! Well everyone was bitching "Dancing sucks" and "I hate this" and I was the only one who told the teacher it was a stupid fucking thing and I wasn't doing it. I realize this is not a great example, but it is a good example, because it shows my point. I was the only one who said something and fought it, everyone else just suffered through it.

My point is, everyone says "I dont like this" but they continue to do it. I know people will say you have to do your job, but thats different, that earns you money. If I do or dont do ball room dancing, how does that affect me in 20 years...it wont! People need to stop bitching and start acting, thats what hippies did, and the world actually has benefited from that, even if it took a while. anyone else agree?

    End rant:wave:

  2. sometimes in life, you have to do things you dont like to be able to do things you do enjoy.

but yes, ballroom dancing sucks. Physical Education is NOT going to keep kids in shape if they are eating chocolate bars, greasy fast food, chugging sodas, munching on sugar, or not exerting energy. When i took PE i purposefully half assed everyting because I did not want to get sweaty and stinky and have to shower AGAIN like 3 hours after i showered that morning.

  3. YOu little rebel, you. When teachers tell me to stop sleeping in class I don't cuz I'm different LOLOLZ Im such a REBEL!
No but seriously I know what you mean.

  4. I never participated in gym.

    Yes, I'm really fat too.

  5. why doesnt everyone just grow a fuckin sack seriously

  6. I'm not fat but I just didn't feel like chasing a ball around or whatever. So I just wore shoes that would scuff up the floor (probably boots or something) so I wouldn't have to do anything and could sit there and look through Guitar World with my friends. Still passed every year some how. I don't think you can fail P.E.

  7. Yea I get my example isn't great and that im the rebel kid that everyone was like "Whats your deal?", I just wonder why people do so much they don't like. A job is one thing, you have to get payed, but no one likes having rights anymore.

  8. wait...what? lol

when did this turn into a rights thing?

  9. I did I never played in their activities so I deserved it. Never really liked sports unless it involved martial arts.

Oh, and I'm not fat either. hence the -

  10. They have ballroom dancing in PE now? No wonder kids shoot up the schools....

  11. Sorry, stoned here :smoking:

  12. That was the point of the whole thing. I was saying how people are just giving up and letting other people control them. Essentially giving up their rights and ability to think for themselves.

  13. Man, to be honest, I don't think I would last long in your school.
back when i was at School, if the pupils didn't want to do something, we weren't going to do it. simple. ;)

  14. ah, i thought it was about doing what you want to do in the pursuit of happiness and having to do things we arent necessarily happy with.

If we wanna talk rights and rebellion, using your example, as much as you have the right to say ballroom dancing sucks and you dont want to do it the phys ed teacher has the right to fail you for not participating. what you need to consider is when to comply and when to fight.

  15. words of wisdom that im trying to get through my head lately very informative post.

  16. I completely agree with what you said CC, but that was just an example. I was just showing how everyone just backs down in todays world.

  17. word, just conversating

  18. Wow, ballroom dancing in P.E.? Sounds lame. When I was in HS I used to like P.E., especially dodge ball. That game was AWESOME.

But, back to the topic, people are being conditioned more and more in today's society to just do what they're told to do and not ask questions. We're being fattened up and taught to be stupid so the government can do what they want without having to worry about people standing up and doing anything about it. We're being brainwashed to care more about what some stupid celebrity on T.V. did rather than what's going on in our own country. We're being taught to just not care about anything of any importance anymore.

  19. Is that pikachu jackin off in your avatar?

  20. sack....check.
