im currently using 3 1000hps with air cooled hood in a 12x8 room.. i was wondering do i need to run intake fans ?
yeah the fans in the hood are to prevent the hood/bulb from getting too hot. it does create circulation, but just for good measure plants need fresh air. So yes I'd say you need an intake fan. Not so much an exhaust fan just a decent sized hole for air to escape to prevent any stagnant air.
