Smoking around your plants?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by aj69420g, Nov 10, 2009.

  1. OK, I cant seem to prove this wrong, cause it makes sense but here it goes..

If you smoke weed around your plants is that good for them? I mean they do breathe in carbon dioxide.

When we let out a hit is it a mixture of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide? or just an elevated level of Carbon dioxide. Cause if its just CO2 it shouldn't harm the plant. It would have trace amounts of THC left in it, could that be good for your plant?

Any opinions appreciated as i wanna go smoke a fat bowl in my trailer (In my grow space @_@)

    Thanks in advanced

  3. Thats a good question that i would really like to know too man.

  4. I would say no, that its not good. You're exhaling more than carbon dioxide dude. Just think about all the residue you're getting from burning plant matter such as tar, etc. That stuff depositing onto the plants can't be good for it.

I think someone should look into this.

  5. I guess that it clogs the pores of the plant, keeping it from breathing so its bad, you can smoke a little around them but dont blow it on them =)

  6. come on people i have been smoking in my grow room for years no problems just good times. but no beifits other than getting your babies in good mood lol

  7. Wow lots of great replys thanks.. yeah I dont blow on them, I just kinda bake a bowl..never gets too smoky though.

  8. I BAKE out my tent. And when I do my plants dance. I swear. DO IT!

  9. I smoke in my 3m2 room all the time. Everyday actually. And my plants are fine. I have fans that stop smoke lingering near plants and good extraction.

  10. I did a little bit of reading and apparently it's not good to smoke around plants in an enclosed area as it clogs the pores of the plant. But if you have good air circulation in the room it is ok.
