Well im real stoned and this may seem weird but is it just me or can you like hear music you like to listen to in your mind perfectly while high, I have noticed its usually while im in complete silence and im real stoned cant move almost. I like to listen to all kinds of music usually country or Gucci Mane though and well Gucci i can play in my mind the best if you know what I mean can, can you hear that too?
If I heard Gucci Mane in my head when I was high I might have to perform a self-lobotomy. After freshman year in college, I started to realize that I could hear fully orchestrated music in my head. It really bugged me at first and would keep me up at nights, but now I'm able to control it more.
I didn'tmean to make it sound like I was constantly hearing, I mean I can like play it in my head if I want to listen to music and no access to radio or what have you
No I know what you meant...I don't constantly hear music either. Just if I'm working on a song for a while or have been listening to an album I really like, I can hear every part extremely clearly. It's nice to be able to do when you don't have anything to listen to!
I can do a lot of things similar to this actually when i'm high. It's kind of like anything is possible in my mind after iv smoked. I can go into a meditative state if i'm relaxed on my own. I love MJ!
I think I can finally do anything while high. Go play sports, go to class, listen to music, watch TV, play video games, read.....Its just awesome, haha. But yea sometimes if I just worked out or had a long day and I'm already really tired a nice bowl will just make me locked into whatever I'm doing.
I know what you mean, after I blaze a few I can hear the music clearer; more intensely. rumandromanism: Consider it a gift! Mozart, Beethoven and others were able to hear entire orchestras, pieces, instruments in their mind. Right now I'm reading the book Musicophilia by: Oliver Sacks , and it deals precisely with this phenomena.
Glad im not the only one with this side effect. After I smoke I usually have an increased thought process and songs playing in my memory.

Random environmental sounds tend to melt together in my head to form odd songs. The most entertaining song my mind ever created happened while I was being booked in a police station. It was so pronounced that I had trouble hearing the officers' voices over the music.
OP - YES! This only happens when I am good and stoned, but I have experienced the very same. Music will play in my head with perfect clarity. I seem to have control over it, for the most part. I will also be able to think anything I want "outloud" in my mind with anyones voice. I could have Dave Chapelle (or anyones voice I am familiar with) say whatever words I want within my own mind. Its hard to explain, but it is crazy awesome

i know exactly wat you mean. sometimes its music and other times it some really cool beats. i used to think i was loco for hearing shit but now i like it.
Making music under the influence of Ganja is always mind expanding. Especially when you get into meditation state of mind and everything gets lucid and dreamlike
