Wow you really don't know what you are talking about. I was a huge Crawford fan when he played for the ice hogs. When I they gave him his big contract is when I began to dislike him. It's people like you that don't understand hockey. And just understand what the media tells you. Look man, we're just going to have to agree to disagree about crawford. I understand he's not one of the top few goalies in the league, but he's still good enough, the Stanley Cup is proof of that. If we could get someone better I would be all for it, but we cant, so we haven't, so in the meantime i will support him to the end because he's part of our organization and has done a lot for us. Ill always defend him, especially against his own team's fans. We'll see what happens at the end of this season at far as being traded but for now he's still our no. 1. Although I expect darling to get the start in winnipeg. I'll be disappointed if he doesnt. Right now he could be the thing the team can galvanize around. I hope so, cuz don't look now but the wild just passed us and knocked us into the wild card spots, and if the hawks lose a few more games here they could still end up missing the playoffs entirely..
I support the Blackhawks but I don't support paying Crawford or treating him as an elite goaltender . Yes we have 2 goal tenders that may be just as good as the starter"other options". They just don't get the ice time Why? A lot of that has to do with $$ and expectations, they are hopeful he can play a season on his own. Do you really believe a guy that's out getting hammered and costing himself playing time is there mentally?He had a great average when we had puck control. Now when it's starting to count its on the rise just like in previous years. You don't seem to remember how many times our offense has bailed him out. Their has been times he has come through for us but few and far between. I only went back 3 or 4 losses but we were not out shot. Yes you do normally see 2-3 defensive lapses in a normal game. You just don't see them on the highlights because they get stopped.Again a breakaway/ big turnover allowing free clear shots on a goaltender might be caused by poor defending but just like a shootout the results are on the goalie. As for his consistency it's just not there our numbers show that. Sorry Hjalmarsson Keith and Seabrook can't block every shot. They're saving it to help push through the playoffs. You ever notice he makes the lucky saves not the simple ones.Then again your calling for a first round exit so what does it matter. Maybe Crawford will have to score twice in 17 seconds for a win, ohh wait he put us in that situation. You must have went to bed before it was over. There is just no convincing you. I'm hoping he stands on his head through the playoffs maybe we can get a couple draft picks for him.
I swear to god, honestly over the summer I wish we would get a new coach that's a power play specialist, because we have some of the most skilled players in the league but the power play has always sucked as long as I've been watching the hawks and it just doesn't make any sense at all. Teams take advantage of it sooo hard. Like they already know taking a last ditch penalty isnt the end of the world. Speaking of the devil there's the 2nd shorthanded goal given up in the last 2 games. Times running out on our season guys, this isn't getting it done..

Well I have some stats for anybody who says Crawford is getting elite pay and isn't worth it. Clearly shows he's pretty much getting what he's worth and yea obviously a bad judgment call with him getting drunk falling down stairs and fucking up his ankle shows he lacks maturity. G
