Could The Early Frost Kill My Budding Female???

  1. i have a beatiful budding indica, and it has been getting close to frosting these past few nights. the low tonight is 33 degrees F. and on monday the low is going to be 24 degrees. the buds arnt developed nearly enough for an early harvest to be possible.

    What should i do????

  2. did you plant it outside in a pot?.....if so you'll need to finish it indoors..........frost can indeed kill a plant, and stopping it outside if planted oin the ground, can be really hard........Peace out........Sid

  3. when did you plant it? did you plant is as a ready clone or from seed?

  4. Just cover it at night. Or cover it the best you can with plastic trash bags.

Doesn't take much to keep the frost off and killing her. Make a pile of bbq charcole and light it up, if it smolders even a few degrees that is enough to keep frost away. Even a strong wind will keep a frost from happening. But trash bags are your best bet.

  5. she is 5 months old, and was planted outside in the ground from seed. she is 5 1/2 feet tall, so finishing her inside is not an option.

  6. If you use plastic you must insure that it doesn't touch your plant or it will freeze where its touching, for my garden we use a old bed sheets we save just for this purpose(we usually get our first frost by labor day, so I kind of know how to handle cold nights. You might consider getting a couple mini sterno cans they use for keeping food warm they only cost like $5.
