  1. hey, i have a few kushberry and blue cheese sprouts right now, and a few of them have started purpling underneath the leafs at day 9. Its pretty cool here this time of year, and the temps are around 70 in the room. its in soil, and both of the strains have a mother or father from the blueberry strain. is this a phosphorus defeciency or from cool climates? any help would be GREAT because im starting to get a little paranoid. any ideas!?

  2. update.... only two of the six are turning purple, and both that turned are the only two blue cheese. I just stared making a tea with the earth juice catalyst and the bloom, it has a bit of phosphorus in it. i wouldnt hurt the plants by giving them a bit of phosphorus would i?

  3. its a temp thing thats all no worries up temps no phosphous its not a phosphous defency

  4. I also have this on almost all my babies.
    They are growing amazingly fast and look otherwise good, so I'm not worried about it.

  5. it could well be genetic
    there definately too young to be having deficiencies
    how about some pics from up top ?

  6. agreed. usualy at day 14 and on you start seeing true issues

    but just to be safe. check the ph run off of your soil... just to be on the safe side.

    i have high ph and my plants turned purple. no good!

    purple + weak leaves + curling leaves= phosphorus

    if your leaves look pretty strong and upright your in good shape

  7. hey guys the purple plants are doing fine, the other ones are showing some sort of issue.... i am experiencing a yellow fan leaf tip on one plant, and some other ones are showing yellowing at the end of the fan leaves. I transplanted a few days ago, and watered down the soil with 1/4 strength organic ferts (earth juice) and a few plants are showing some problem. My 250w mh was 12in from the canopy, but since the temps were around 70 i figured that would be alright, so just to be safe i moved it back 6 more inches bc it could be heat stress? and i watered it down with distilled water, my ph meter seems off but its around 7. anyways, here are 3 photos of two separate plants, please lemme know what you think.

  8. keep up the good work. you dont need 250 wats at this point maybe it is something to do with to much light. i'd put the bulb at 18-20 inches away. get a digital temp guage from walmart i think they are 6$. i have one that is "inside/outside" temp with 2 probes i leave one in an ambient area, and one literally on top of the plant where it gets the most heat!

  9. Hey there guys;

    In my opinion, they are too small to be really feeding anything other than PH'd water with maybe a little superthrive to boot. Keep em away from the HID's (don't wanna sunburn the little ones) Water em twice at least before the next feeding. The burnt tips would also indicate an over feeding issue. Good luck bro.

    Peace

  10. thanks for all the help guys...i moved the mh to about 18 inches, gave them some fresh water and am hoping for the best. It only effected a few plants minimally, but i think it will turn out alright. im confued about my ph levels i bought an electric meter but its so fucking whacked! im just waiting to check all my levels i feel like that will elp as well. just waiting on the ups man....
