molasses

  1. Would it hurt my plant if i use molasses before the fourth week of flowering?

  2. I know people who feed molasses to seedlings. You'll be fine.

  3. You can use it all the way through, never heard of any negative effects from using molasses. Cept maybe clogging some hydro systems

  4. Respect bro but try to search about "sugar" uptaking on other forums than Canna forums.
Its many many reasons why plant Can't uptake "sugar" and what kind of monosacharides can ... also bad effects of disacharides and bad effect of monosacharides.

Sugar is not just SUGAR....there is 8 types of sugars and plant can uptake just one / Monosacharides.

you can start with this link but there is much much more where you can find why extra sugar is SHIT for plants
    Osmosis

    search for
    Concentration of water
    Turgidity
    Plasmolysis
    Osmosis
    ect etc

  5. Interesting - have any links??

  6. Uhhh ok but why are you linking to basic osmosis stuff?
I guess I see what you mean in that too much sugar can pull water out of the plant cells and all that though. From experience though, feeding with molasses doesnt cause plasmolysis. I use 1tsp per gallon.

  7. Its all about water pressure in the cell, transportation and stomata.
Also, there is what of "sugars" plant can absorb cause there is 8 different kind of sugar.
Using sugar can affect grow and plants will looks like overwatered but they is not...thay just have closed stomata and fucked water pressure in the cells.

Sugar in the soil or air is not founded, so how logical is to feed plant with sugar ?

Nutrients co. made all different mixtures of NPK micro and macro nutrients to provide all grows of different kind of plants...and all use only what plant can uptake and absorb totally.
(read nutrients what are in the soil)

But ok, we all have different way of growing ... just I talking here about botany and facts.

  8. I thought the molasses is for the microbes in the soil...

  9. I use molasses year round to feed beneficial bacteria living in the soil. I have never seen any negative side effects from using......

  10. Maybe you dont look good ... maybe grower think its overwatering but its not ...
Like usual I will leave you to invstigate and research if you want to know, directions from my side is good..

    now google ...

  11. yes, I used molasses all thru veg, and am still feeding them molasses currently!

    they love that shit

  12. Ah that explains a lot about botany ... thank you very much bro :D

    From here.
"For gardeners the sweet syrup can work as a carbohydrate source to feed and stimulate microorganisms. And, because molasses (average NPK 1-0-5) contains potash, sulfur, and many trace minerals, it can serve as a nutritious soil amendment."

It's not a myth or some bullshit, gardeners use molasses all the time, and its basically the same as those "carbohydrate booster" type products.

If you feed with too much sugar and the plant ends up with negative water pressure, surely it would look underwatered, not overwatered?

  14. its useless ... ok Sugar is very good.
    Hat down !

    My mistake sorry guys.

  15. We're all here to learn man :) Just checked out your grow, very nice.

  16. Yes Im here to learn something new too but I can accept only fact ... 100 times repeted word do not become fact.
Do not learn about plants from Cannabis forums or Canna web sites.

Plant losing uptaked water, by roots, cross the leaves (release), leaves have doors for uptaking or release (stomata) if stomata are closed how plant can release water ?
She will looks like underwatered or overwatered ?

Cannabis is PLANT on first place, so learning about plants should not be on Canna web sites ... but many ppl blindly searching and trust to canna sites.
On least all informations is bringed to Canna forums from Botany or Bilogic sites , so why not searching for information directly from source ?

  17. Alright man whatever you say. I'll just keep using molasses and wait for all these negative effects you mentioned.

  18. haha when you got answer on your stupid question now is "whatever I say" ? LOL

you use some stuffs but you dont know why and how they works :D
very nice grow you have ... can imagine how looks if you need to share your knowledge with an beginer hahaha

-bla bla bla ...and use molasses !
    * ok, but what molasses do to the plant ?
    -Hmmm Im not sure ...
    * well...ok, but how plant uptake "sugar" and can I made problem using molasses ?
-hmmm Im not sure for that either but I see some ppl use that ?

    :D:D

  19. Why don't you heed your own advise and stop posting your grammatically challenged posts on this site and stick to your botany or "bilogic" sites.....

    You are a douche. :devious:

  20. cause I have right to post grammatically chellenged posts and to speack about Cannabis and botany or "biologic" sites , also plant facts !

Who push you to read what I post ?
