Are these male or female? I want to say male, but you can barely see there's a tiny (possible hair) coming out of the sac in the first pic. A few of the other "sacs" seem pointy too, but I'm so worried they're males or hermies I might be fooling myself. Any help would be appreciated! This is only my second grow.
Has anyone here used the bag on the branch method for sexing their plant? You know, keeping your plant in a veg light cycle but keeping one branch on a 12/12 cycle by putting a bag over it for a few hours a day. I have 10 mystery seeds and am considering growing them but I really don't want them to impregnate my beautiful girls. If I do grow them I'm thinking of keeping them on a veg cycle for quite some time to make sure they are not autoflowers. No sense in limiting yields on my bonus weed.
No it does not look like any of the pollen sacks have opened yet, & I don't see any pistol like looking hairs?
I hope this is the right thread for this question, as i dont wanna open a new thread for a question which is prolly asked for a thousand times. This is my first plant ever, and im doing a micro grow with it. I just have 4 seeds from like last new year buds i bought to smoke and desided to try grow my own. There isnt anywhere to buy seeds in my country so i would be too happy to get a female, so i can clone it and dont worry about seeds anymore. Maybe try get a male from rest 3 and make seeds for the future. Anyways, i think my plant finally started showing sex after 6 weeks. There are 2 green like thingies/bells which have 1-2 white fluffy hairs going out of them. So i would say its a female. Would be nice if someone else could confirm, tho i cant get more detailed pictures from these ones. Sry and thx
Unless they are autoflowers, I don't think there is a way to know their sex until you start to flower.
