Official 09-10 College Football Thread

Anyone else out there getting pumped for college football to get rolling? Any preseason picks for the title out there? How about conference winners?

Right here, right now though... Im predicting the University of Iowa to not only sweep the big ten, but take the BCS crown this winter. Being born and raised in Iowa City may have biased my decision just a bit though. HA!

ive got usc out of the pac-10..obviously... ohio stae sweeping the big 10... obviously... Florida not only going undefeated winning the SEC and the BCS championship tebow gets heisman. ACC SUCKS ASS so im going FSU or miami...big 12 once again comes down to the red river shootout between texas and oklahoma, okla or ohio state vs florida in the bcs i already said florida wins by a lartge margin once again bringing the 4th national title to the SEC 4 years in a row....... GO GATORS:hello: i can't wait for football only college though... i still have to decide between going to my friends wedding or going to the florida tenn game at the SWAMP and watch meyer put up 100 on kiffin, won't be like last year when we pulled our starters in the 3rd quarter if meyer has the oppurtunity to hang 100 on kiffin he will hang 100...

I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!! from the 10:30 am pre game show on espn till at least midnight on saturdays in the fall, it's the greatest show on earth.

still a little early for some official picks, but i'll give you a few of my UNDERDOGS, that could steal some conference titles

OKLAHOMA ST. COWBOYS. their offense is off the charts. this will be a very exciting team to watch, much like the texas tech team of 08. it wouldn't surprise me to see them take the BIG 12.

AUBURN TIGERS. with a new coaching staff in place, it usually takes a few years before teams hit their stride with a new offense, but auburn has the players to hit the ground running in 09. solid on both sides of the ball, they could catch a lot of teams off guard this season and steal the SEC WEST.

NC STATE WOLFPACK. one name to remember, QB/RUSSELL WILSON. 17 tds. and only 1 int. last season as freshman. with a tough front 7 on defense, and the rest of the ACC beating each other up, they could sneak their way right into the ACC title game.

USF BULLS. although i think RUTGERS will run away with the BIG EAST, enough can't be said about the BULLS. with a proven senior QB and one of the best DEFENSIVE LINES in the country, they could pull off some upsets along the way, putting themselves in a great position to win 10 games and playing in a BCS game.

i won't touch on the BIG TEN. being a BUCKEYE fan, it's obvious who the champs are there.

as for the PAC 10. all i can say is ............ FUCK USC!!!
go DUCKS, go BEARS, go SUN DEVILS, go BEAVERS, go BRUINS, go WILDCATS. i really would like to see STANFORD upset some teams this year. or at least cover the spread more than a few times.

lol im a faithful hawk fan too.. but i don't think were going to sweep the big ten. i hope to make a couple games this season. i was working the penn state game last year, up in the media suite

2. OU
3. Texas Tech
4. OSU
5. NU
6. Kansas
7. Mizzou
8. Baylor
9. A&M
10. CU
11. Kstate
12. Iowa State

Conference Champs:

ACC: I like Georgia Tech. Virginia Tech is everyone's pick but they have a weak offense. Georgia Tech's new option attack worked great last year and will only be better with the players having another year in the system. The defense is solid enough for them to overtake Va Tech for the crown.

Big 10: Penn State is my pick here. OSU has great talent, and Iowa and Michigan State look strong too. However, Daryl Clark is still the best QB in the Big 10, no matter what OSU fans say. Evan Royster will lead a strong running attack and the PSU defense will do its job. They'll probably drop a game but I think they will win the conference because they seem to have the most well rounded, and most talented, team.

Big 12: Texas will play this season with a chip on their shoulder. They are better than Oklahoma this year. Oklahoma State and Texas Tech should be solid, but aren't good enough to challenge OU or Texas. The winner of that game will win the conference. Give me the Longhorns

Pac 10: I really think USC will be down this year, they lost a LOT of talent. With that said, I think this is the year someone knocks them off. Nobody seems to be willing to pick against the Trojans, but something tells me Cal will win the conference. Javheid Best is the most explosive player in the country and the Bears have a strong defense to lean on.

SEC: Florida, but not by as much as you think. LSU should be right up there with them and Alabama and Georgia should be strong too. Still, i don't see Florida losing more than 1 conference game and i could see those other 3 teams lose 2 or 3. LSU and Florida should meet in the title game and Florida has the experience to win it.

Florida over Texas in the the Championship. Both teams will come in with a loss but nobody else seems like they will be able to go undefeated this year, besides maybe Boise State. This will be a great game but you have to go with Tim Tebow and the most experienced defense in the country.

It is all about the NC State Wolfpack this year making a name for themselves. Sept. 3rd is going to be hell for those damn LameCocks and we are going to wipe the ACC clean with Wilson at QB and up and coming Tony Baker at HB. Although we did lose our best linebacker to a car accident we will still step up and fuck people up.

I second that one brotha. Even losing a lot of talent SC is more talented than 90% of college programs. I think Barkley is gonna do well. California pumps out athletes and guess what they all want to play for USC. Us and Florida for the title.
