  1. Sticks, can you check mine? It seems to be working fine but I want to make sure you have a good feeling it will stay that way. Can I send you my serial number through a PM on FC?

  2. that won't fo anything. He wil not be able to diagnose your unit from a serial number.

  3. Yeah what's funny though is the dude from VN actually contacted me and asked me if I wanted the slightly upgraded silver one..

I had the gold one ordered but he took the time to explain that they had a new shipment of slightly upgraded ones come in, but they were only silver. So thinking that I wanted to avoid a faulty model I went ahead and purchased the silver one that was claimed to be slightly upgraded.

    Oh well, I guess..

  4. Yeah my old one was silver and white. New one is silver and black. Not having issues with the new one so far.

  5.
Yeah I can't comment on how the Pax works, or a MiniVap.

  6.
When and where did you get yours?  The real issue is whether or not you got one with a bum heater.  The bad ones fail within about 100 uses.  I have no way of checking for a bad heater before it fails.  I am starting to get some good use out of my glass core unit that I didn't like at first.  If you have a glass one it is worth talking through some things.

  7. Vapornation. ...Original came before Thanksgiving and replacement came about a week ago.

  8.
I have a choice as to which one to get, but I told Jorge that I wanted the teflon insert after reading of your issues with the heat retention of the glass.

  9. Great!  I still like my teflon better, but the glass is working a little better now.  We should skype when you get yours and I can run you through some things that are too much to get into by typing.

  10. Hey guys! I just wanted to know what everyone uses wax on their mods with. This is the best way I've found to do dabs and conserves it the best. I usually build big complicated coils and just on one side (takes longer to heat up, better for wax). Right now I'm using an FUhanntan mod, an authentic Mephisto V2 for dripping and a stillare for dabs. The dab coil is a paralleled twisted 24g kanthol and 24g/30g Clapton (don't know the exact width but just don't make micro coils, probably 1/4-1/8 in?) Works wonders.
For those that don't know: to put dabs on a vape, set a glob or piece (wax or shatter) on the coil (not too big but enough to cover the top) and pulsate the mod SLOWLY. If you see it bubble stop and let it melt in then pulse again, try not to let it smoke. Once the wax is melted hit it like a vape but WARNING if you're a cloud chaser scale back your drag size because you'll cough like a mother fucker.
    Hope that helps

  11. I have a Flowermate Vapormax 5.0s and love it. The herb never combusts and love the different temp. settings. I also like the built in LED in the loading chamber if you are sitting out at night. Not as portable as some others but still fits in pockets discretely and I can get almost 2.5 hours of usage on one charge.

  13. I need help choosing a vape that can be semi portable and useable at home. Im the past I've had a cloud pen and a mflb and tolerance growth seemed to increase quick with these? Thanks

  14. repping a blue Pax by Ploom, vaping is the way to go, much cleaner high and very functional, able to stay professional and posed. Recommend PAX to everybody!!!

    PAX by ploom. Excellent

  15. So, I had dropped my wand a Lil while back to my dbv (rather a book fell on it) and snapped it clean. I found out it actually isn't that short, so I decided to insert the hose and tape it down since I can't put it as far in. And it hits hella hard now. It actually improved my experience for me

I even discovered a Lil bong I had tucked away would fit the mouthpiece perfectly in its wide bowl. Just taped some paper towel onto the rim of the bowl and it's fairly airtight. Wish I found this shit out sooner. I've been held back from vapor bonging because of a lack of rig, which I had all along

For me it seems to depend on the strain. As you mention, it's not bad, and it all seems to smell sort of the same after vaping.

Idk about the tolerance thing, but I'd recommend the Solo. I've used the firefly, ascent, iolite, and hammer and the Solo blows them out of the water in my opinion. They're relatively cheap too, around $150.

how long does it take to charge? an jw how often would u needa change out the chambers? sorry for so many qs but one last one! how many hits do u typically get from this baby?? thanks! :)
edit: oh! an also do u ever have probs with combustion??

Anywaaay This shitsa hard decision cuz I'm new to vapeing an I can't make a decision between two vapes.
One which is the Flowermate which is why I have so many q's lol the newest version seems awesome
but the problem is I don't want to have to change out the chamber screens, which would plus mean
buying new ones every so often. The one I was first interested in was a Vapedynamics vape because
it is pretty much a flowermate no need to change the chamber screens at all. Both have no combustion
from what I've heard. With the vapedynamics vape I hear it takes upto 6hours or longer to charge, not really sure about the flowermate. Also VD vape only has one heat setting which I actually don't mind. Flowermate has multiple heat settings I've heard & plus you can also purchase a car charger for on the go, and even get a bong attachment which I thought was neat! I wonder if the car charger and bong attachment would work for the VD vape because it is mostly the same from what I've heard/understood. That would be awesome if it did because then I can get all the extra cool stuff without having to worry about changing screens! if anyone knows anymore about these two feel free to share! Thanks!

Ps. sorry for my shitty grammar its almost 7 am an I havent slept lol

  19. My V5.0S (the 3 temp settings model) takes around 3 hours to charge fully and lasts about 2.5 hours of use.

You get some replacement screens with the unit, but how long they last depends on usage. If you're a heavy user you'll need to change them a little more regularly. Helps if you keep up a bit of maintenance on the unit too.

I've never had an issue with combustion with mine, just nice vapour. And I'd probably get 6-8 good hits, then another 4 or 5 less powerful hits (usually give it a stir midway through too).

It's a nice little vape for the price.

  20. I have had two Solo vapes in the past, both were excellent. As for what happened to them is a whole different story.

So now I am a member of the MFLB club. One of the two batteries included was dead, but the other wasn't. After figuring that out it seems super easy to use and am happy with it. I think it'll fit my vape a little here and there through the day better than a vape that stays on. Flavor seems nice so far too, but the Solo still had this beat in my opinion for flavor. Disappointed? Not at all, it still tastes real nice.
