  1. How does one light a vaporizing pipe/

Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum

  2. Most vaporizers can be used through a bong or bubbler and this usually does a great job of cooling the vapor down so it is a lot less harsh to your throat. Some people even like using warm water because it kind of adds as I can only describe as a "sauna effect" to your throat.

  3. Well, who knows. We can't tell at all. By now, let's just savor the amazing things that a vaporizer can provide and enjoy our precious weed to the fullest.

The temperature your vaping at is definitely a factor. Also the design of the vape itself can play a big role. Not all vapes are created equal.

Personally Ive noticed when trying to vape a strain thats moist it can be pretty harsh.

Some vape can be hooked up to a water pipe this makes a huge difference.

Unfortunately the pax isnt one of those vapes. (At least that im familiar with)
Staying on yellow until the vapor starts to fade and taking smaller draws should help with the coughing. If your not satisfied with that vaping through water will definitely solve your problem

For me, it's more about moisturizing the vapor and a little about cooling so I like to run it through very warm water.

Now smoke, on the other hand, is MUCH hotter so cooling there would be more important........to me.

  6. That looks like it would be a pain in the ass to clean.

Depending on what vaporiser you have you can get a glass adapter and pretty much use it with most water pieces and bubblers etc. You should be able to see some glass adapters from the same place you bought your vape from. What vape are you using?

I have this exact kit here myself but might also buy a bubbler. http://www.namastevapes.co.uk/collections/portable-vaporizers/products/davinci-ascent-dlx-includes-water-tool

  8. Yes and since its plastic I would strongly advise against use alcohol to clean it.

  9. All my stems and whips get residue that requires cleaning. The plastic cooling vapor trail looks like a nightmare to maintain. I await the two month usage reports before jumping on bandwagon.

  10. I see a 'cooling stem' advertised here. Have you tried one? I bought an Extreme Q desktop and have been setting @ 190C. As there is a whip, will it attach to a 'water pipe' ?

Let me know how you resolve this. I have asthma and COPD. My Doc says 'vapor only' for me. NO combustion styles allowed.

  11. I have the Extreme Q. I am going to checkout the bubbler you mentioned. I have asthma and COPD. My Doc says 'vapor only' NO combustion allowed.

  12.
S&B actually recommends a Q-Tip dipped in ISO but strongly mentions not to soak it in ISO for a long period of time.

Those that have it over at FC mentions that after some use things get kind of mucky in the cooling chamber but that a Q-Tip and a bit of ISO cleans it up really easy.

  13. Everclear works fine for cleaning plastics, its how i clean my PnP.

As someone who works with/machines plastics regularly, you'd be mistaken to think plastic will hinder flavor. There are many blends that are as inert as most metals at the temps any vape would ever see. Same reason many auto manufacturers are switching external engine components to plastics, better heat dissipation

I have seen a pinnacle pro mouth piece that was degraded by alcohol and everclear was the only alcohol that has ever touched it. I dont care what S&B says I still wouldnt get any alcohol even close to that plastic.

In real world instances with vaporizers plastic has shown to hinder flavor so no I would not be mistaken in all cases.

I hear ya and kinda feel the same way even though I do recognize that not all plastic is the same and that there is a possibility that the plastic that S&B uses may not exhibit the same things that they do in other vaporizers.   I mean it wasn't that long ago that if someone told me that car manufacturers would be using plastic as engine components, I'd say they were fracking crazy.

GUYS THEY HAVE THE LSV ON MASSDROP FOR $140

    www.massdrop.com/buy/life-saber-vaporizer

Im joining that asap lmao. They also have the ascent, flowermax, eq, silver surfer, and the solo.

Screw all those other vapes tho... join the lsv one to help bring that price down!

  17. I doubt S&B uses the same cheap plastics other companies use. Just because YOU haven't had a good plastics experience doesn't mean all plastics suck. Look at the Minivap, it uses quality plastics and everyone raves on the flavor of it

  18. That would be purely speculation on your part.

  19.
As is the speculation that S&B and Minivap uses the same quality of plastic used in other vapes, eh?

  20. Actually... after some research i realized the difference between the lsv on vapornation with the FC code and the lsv on massdrop is $5, or $10 if you want a color. Thats not worth the hassle imo.

Still, theres some nice discounts for other vapes. ($150 for an ascent? Not bad imo)

Seeing that deal made me finally pull the trigger though. Im officially part of the lsv squad. It only took me around 3 months to decide on a vape. Being a cheap person seems to work like a vaccine for VAS lmao
