I have two young plants growing; They have been growing for about three and a half weeks, outdoor. The stems are very long, but there are a small amount of leaves. What is the problem? I haven't given them fert or anything, and I water them every three to four days.
make sure the plants are getting enough light.. they could be stretching for the sun and make sure they get enough especially during veg grow
Well there's your problem. No fert. Without fert the plant will grow slow (if at all) and the lower leaves will turn yellow and fall off because of a nitrogen deficiency making it look like the stem is long. Was that it?
your problem seems to be they arent getting enough light and they dont have enough dirt, or the only other thing i could think of is maybe they are just bad plants, what color was the seeds?
sounds likie they're stretching for the sun to me too.and with no fert they strive to survive (i rhyme all the time).my plant was stretching too.here's a pic of it.
HIGH All, was it time to plant outdoors where you live...yes fertilizing your plant now would be a good thing..us we do it once every week..but we still are waiting to put them out.
