coconut Bud Capsule Recipe
You will need:
Cap-M-Quik Capsule Filler Kit and 200 "00" caps (Bongs and Glass Pipes - Grasscity.com)
Food Processor
Candy Thermometer
Saucepan
One ounce grade "A" bud
One cup Hawaiian coconut oil
You will want to start with one ounce of the very best, lovingly and organically grown, carefully cured and trimmed bud that you have available.
Hawaiian coconut oil has special scientifically molecular and karma positive properties. Coconut oil is solid at room temperature. You can refrigerate these to keep them from melting. If there are dietary considerations, you may experiment with almost any edible oil or clarified butter.
Using your food processor, grind your bud into a very fine powder.
Now you need a candy thermometer.
In a saucepan, over really low heat, slowly heat the coconut oil to 300 degrees. Use your thermometer to verify the temp. Be very careful the oil heats and cools quickly. Too hot and you risk vaporizing the THC. Not hot enough and the cannabidials may not fully decarboxylate.
Dump the bud flower, all at once, into the oil and stir with a wooden chopstick. Carefully bring back to about 290 degrees. Remove from heat. Verify with the thermometer. (those are the terpenes that you smell. They vaporize at a much lower temperature. Medically, this comes under the heading of really nice aroma therapy.)
Allow to cool slowly to about 100 degrees.
Set up 50 caps in your Cap-M-Quick. Quik. Get the oil/flour mix into the caps. A spoon, the C-M-Q card, and a chopstick works the best. Follow the C-M-Q instructions.
