Weather issues? Sunlight issues?

  1. Alright, my current situation is I've had my marijuana plant in a pot growing outdoors for almost 1 full day. Today was actually it's first day to bath in the sunlight all day long and it loved it. My baby already has it's first pair of little baby marijuana leaves. ;D Anyways! My question is this... I just returned from a walk from outside and noticed a storm was moving in tonight and probably going to rain...and the sunlight issue is that most of the sunlight that my plant needs I put at the southern part of my house during the morning and most of the afternoon. But at sunset the sun shines ONLY on the north part of my house and blocks my plant from getting any sunlight before the night falls. Is this a problem? Does it matter that it doesn't get it's last hour or two of sunlight? I can't move the plant to the north side of the house because the north of my house is...well, the front of my house. Street, other houses, neighbors, etc. So moving it isn't going to work and putting it indoors for the storm won't work either. I don't have any fluoro's. Oh yeah...and about that storm. Will the rain drown/kill my baby? Please reply. Muchly appreciated. ;)

  2. If it is in a container, make sure it has drainage holes. Maybe even try and cover it up with something. I have 12 outside already and its supposed to rain for the next week, mine are already in the ground and decent size so they should be fine. A smaller one like you said may not be able to handles intense rain without some protection.

  3. Thanks for the advice. The kind of pot I'm using is shown in the pics I have in my other posts. I don't have an album yet... :p And it has drainage holes so I guess I'm gonna risk it and leave it out but keep an eye on it carefully if it starts to pour heavy then I'll try to put some plastic over it or something.

  4. can you put them really close to your house? like the spot that doesn't usually get wet during a rain?

  5. Well... Right now it happens to be raining. It isn't pouring and it's not coming down hard it's just a light constant drizzle. I took the pot and I put it underneath a bush close to the house to try and prevent it from getting anymore wet. I took the smaller container inside the pot out (it has drainage holes beneath it) and it was completely dry so it's not flodded. But my plant has like a raindropsplashed right in the middle of the two little baby marijuana leaves above the larger round ones. I just to gently blow it off or poke at it with my finger a little but evantually I just left it alone. I didn't wanna risk hurting it y'know.
