Hi! How's things in the Big BR? Born and raised there but moved away about 6 years ago. I hear things are horrible since Katrina! The traffic was horrible BEFORE Katrina! Used to take me an hour and a half to drive one way to work (22 miles)!
welcome to the board baa. nice to see some fellow tokers from LA. i live in denham springs right outside BR. it takes me over an hour to get to school in the mornings which should only take about 30 min. and things have sucked ass since katrina. im starting to hate it here. traffic pisses me off more than anything. fucking people suck at driving and slow down everytime there a car on the side of the road, im just glad i dont have a gun in my car haha. IMO its way overpopulated. but people keep building and building new neighborhoods for MORE people to move in. like we need anymore people. and the crime rate has gone up since katrina also, of course. and theres really nothing to do for fun around here, you have to make your own fun, and when you do, you get in trouble with the law. no wonder a ton of us here smoke weed. cuz there aint shit to do! i mean dont get me wrong, i love all my friends and most people are cool around here, but in general it sucks. sorry for that lil rant haha. but all LA tokers i know are cool as shit
I feel your pain! I know what you mean, about all there is to do is go to bars, then they wonder why so many people abuse alcohol around there!
