How high can you get before getting sick?

I've been blazed before where I'm sitting on a couch not wanting to get up. I've also been so wasted with tunnel vision, really fast heart beat, pale skin, trouble breathing, and throwing up. I'm wondering if there's any inbetween ground or if smoking any amount will push you from one towards the other.

While I'm at it, being high is a continuum, but what would you call the stages in order(e.g. high, blazed, sick)?

I think you would either pass out, or go into a coma before you were actually "sick"

First would be buzzed, then high, after that stoned, then burntout.
Weed doesn't make you sick, if it does then your doing something wrong, having a panic attack, or taking hits way too big fir your lungs. Sometimes I feel kinda sick if I'm very tired and get high. Or if I have been smoking non stop all day

I neglected to mention I had a couple beers before this which just gave me a buzz. I figured I got sick not because of those, but because of the two huge hits I took.

Pot + Booze = Sick.

I have seen people (myself included) get a good case of the spins... some folks can't handle it and get sick.

There's more:

Another time before this I mixed vodka punch with weed and had the greatest feeling ever. I was more than buzzed off the vodka, but only had enough weed to get high whereas before I had enough beer to get a mild buzz and lots of weed.

You(AndyMon)'re thinking I got motion sick from the altered vision from being so blazed out of my mind?

Drinking then smoking weed makes you feel like your on a never ending rollercoaster.
Smoking weed then drinking is way more enjoyable.

But I would suggest not mixing either together..

Stick with the safer alternative! (The one that cannot kill you)

I've thrown up and shaked allot, but the shaking was from vaporizing and having a energy drink/being anemic. The throwing up is from too big of a hit and coughing=throw up

I've been smoking pot for 38 years. I could never mix pot and alcohol till about 5 years ago. Prior to that, it always made me nauseous. Also, pot alone CAN make you sick. Usually it takes a heck of alot. Smoking it usually won't make you sick unless you're a light weight and smoke some killer buds. However, I know of many people who have "ODed" on butter. They get so high that it gives them anxiety like feelings. Also, some people get nauseous. They try to sleep it off and end up waking up still high, which just proves they took too much.

There you go, right there is the reason why you got sick.

So we need to instate a "Pot before liquor" rule? :P

Personally, I LOVE a good cold beer after a nice rip. Mr. Cottonmouth is just starting to come your way, and you have some nice suds to wash it all away. We should start a poll for best bud + beer combination.

Anyway, mixing a lot of alcohol with pot will get you sick in my experience. Sometimes it comes from the spins alone.

The only time weed made me throw up was when I had eaten 3 full meals within an hour and a half, high as fuck all day, then i smoked greens on a bowl that had a sandhill of kief ontop. I coughed sooo much, and thats what enduced the throwing up. Then I passed out, woke up the next day feeling great, and did a wake-n-bake with my buddies before we went wakeboarding

Quick question. I have thrown up before, but was wondering what caused it. Was it smoking too much or could it have been motion sickness, or a combination of the two. I smoked and then was riding in a car looking out the window. It has also made me sick when i would smoke and then walk, a lot of movement would make my stomach turn. I would sit down, close my eyes, and everything would settle down.
