Clones are rooting as we speak. This grow will be 2 screens, a 5'x4' with a 1000w and 8 Strawberry Haze and a 4'x8' with 2x1000w'ers and 12 Delahaze. This run I will veg with 3x600w mh cause I don't have 1000w mh bulbs yet. They are Sun System magnetic ballast. For flower I will switch to 3x1000w digital Lumatek ballasts with Hortilux Super HPS bulbs. My hoods are 6" air cooled Sun System ( sealed with glass). I have a 8" canfan (720cfm) cooling the lights. The room will have 12000btu ac (only if needed). It will only be vented for humidity, with a 8" canfan. When venting, fresh dry air about 70-75 degrees and 35% humidity will be drawn in with a 4" canfan. There will be 2x oscillating fans, one above each canopy. There will also be 3x 10" fans below the screen\canopy for better circulation. I will be using a C.A.P. Fuzzy logic co2 meter\controller. Co2 will be set at 1600ppm at all times exept for night hours and when venting. Do to high co2 levels I will be maintaining temp at around 85 degrees daytime. Night temp will be around 70 degrees. The last few weeks of flower I will lower temp by about 10 degrees.
My hydro system has a 90 gal res, 20x5gal buckets, and 6"net pots w/4" rockwool cubes and a little hydroton just to cover the rockwool. Roots will just dangle freely in bucket. I start flooding 1-2 times daily for 15min when they are smaller, then end up flooding about 5 times a day for 15min when they get bigger. These are the Advanced Nutrients products that I have, Sensi Grow A&B, Sensi Bloom A&B, Voodoo Juice, Sensi Zym, Fulvic Acid, B-52, Barricade, Carboload, Sweet Leaf, Bud Blood, Big Bud, Overdrive, and flush w/ Final Phaze then RO. I will be follwing the moderatly heavy feeding program on the AN calculator. I have a res heater and a water chiller if needed to maitain 70 degree nutrient solution at all times.

I hope to reach a dry wieght of 5 lbs at some point w/ this set up. How long that will take, well I guess we will find out.

This will be my second grow but only my first scrog so I have a few questions that can hopefully be answered.....

1. What is the best size screen holes to use for this method?

2. How far above should I set my screen?

3. When should I stop pulling branches through? ( these strains flower for about 10 weeks).

4. What week of flower should I trim all the growth from under the screen to focus all the plants energy on worthy budsites?

For now I am using a phone for internet but once I get a chance I will post the first set of pics.

Thanks again everyone for following my grow, it should be a good one.

From my last harvest or this new grow? Pics from last harvest are all on a digital cam but I don't have my laptop. That's the only way I knew how to post them. If someone can teach me how to post pics with a blackberry I will get some from the new grow up. Anyone? I know they won't be the best quality but at least you will get the idea.
Thanks guys

Guess no1 else knows either.

Well, just a few more days til the clones get put in the hydro system. It's been 7 days since I cut the clones. The last time they took 8 days to root. I hope by day 10 or 11 they will be ready for a week nutrient mix.

Thanks for stopn in.
Not really worried bout the wattage, I'm protected by the state law. But I will be carefull anyways.

As for the Strawberry Haze, yes its Arjan's

My buddy is growing it right now along with 5 other strains and it by far has been the best out of all of them as far as growth and yield. It stinks like strawberry to, its pretty crazy. Think he's on week 8 of flower. I believe its a 10 week strain.
I was gona do all Delahaze then when I saw how fast his were growing and how much bud it had on it/smell I said screw it mine as well throw 8 of them in there.

Ok, so yesturday I got blazed and misted my clones before I had to leave the house for a few hours. Well, let's just say I got a little too stoned cause when I got back 3 hours later I noticed that I forgot to put my dome back on before I left. When I saw the clones they were all drooped over and a little shrivled (but not totally dried out they still had a little moisture on them). I misted them again and put the dome back on. When I checked on them this morning 10 hours later, the clones were all standing back up which I believe is a good sign but the leaves are stil drooped and a lttle shrivly. Some better than others. They are about 7 days old since I cliped them and most have root but not enough to be popping out of the rockwool starter cubes yet. Just wondering if any one has ever done this before of if you could tell me if they will b ok or not?

Next time I won't blaze till after I get my shit done. Lol. If I have to I will just cut new ones. My buddies got a shitload of mothers.

WILL THEY BE OK?

I think they'll probably be fine. If they stood back up they're good. Sometimes a little stress speeds rooting. Perhaps a little Revive to help out?

I'd definitely like to see some pics though.

Thank bro. I thought they would be fine but It makes me feel better to hear it from someone else. I don't have any revive on hand but I might go to the hydro shop tomorrow so maybe I'll grab some.

As far as the pics go, I explained above. I use my blackberry for internet so if you can teach me how to post pics with it, I could get some up for you.

Don't like the way these things look so I'm not even gona sweat them. Going to my buddies house today to cut another batch of clones. He's got like 10 strains available so I might go with the same strain or if I like something better I could switch it up.

Well I guess that will push my harvest back 8 days.

Cut a new batch of clones today. I decided to stick with the original plans and go with the same strains.

So the first batch didn't make it? That sucks. Now that I think about it that might not be a bad thing. Stress that early doesn't usually make a difference but it might have impacted yield a bit. Hard to say for sure.

Hurry up and get the pic uploading thing sorted out. Best part of your grows are the pics!
