My top 30 movies to watch baked.

  1. He's absolutely right - there are so many intelligent allusions in the classic movie! It's a master piece. The one with Johnny Depp is abysmal.

I recommend Battle Royale -- Japanese movie where children are to fight to the death -- really good and trippy.

Starship Troopers hands down is a brilliant movie -- tons of gore and really insightful when it comes to a futuristic socialist government. Check it out!

ps. Old boy is a classic favorite -- if you like asian horror, check out "Three Extremes." You can't go wrong with Fruit Chan, Chan Wook Park, or Takeshi Miike!!!!!

  2. Who's bright idea was it to cast Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka. That's like the worst casting ever in the history of movies. Willy Wonka would have been better if they casted someone fitting for the role, like Christopher Walken.

  3. agreed!!!!

  4. The original Wizard of Oz, is a great movie, not necessarily to watch while baked, but just a good movie. Everytime I hear Judy Garland sing Somewhere over the Rainbow, I can't help but get a little teary eyed.

  5. Thanks for contributing, hope you enjoy the movies.

    :wave::smoking:

  6. Chris Tucker was in Friday not Chris Rock, Thats my favorite to watch high. :smoking:

  7. Personally, I didn't like Friday.

I thought the Big Lebowski, Dazed and Confused, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and one of the Harold and Kumar movies should've been on there. And if you ever get a chance, watch Finding Nemo in Italian. Its fantastic when you're high :D

  8. Holy shit, 15 fucking posts and no one has mentioned Dazed and Confused?!?

WTF, you guys should be ashamed.

Good list though, OP, gave me a few ideas. Obviously, you have my suggestion as to my fav...:smoking:

  9. Dark Side of Oz. If you haven't seen it, you don't know what you're missing. And yeah, you'll watch that version baked.

  10. Hey, there it finally is! Was wondering when someone was gonna mention DnC...

Nemo in Italian? Hrm, that opens up a whole new world there.

    Simpsons in Japanese?

    Family Guy in German?

    Heh.

  11. Bongwater. Jack Black is fucking hilarious in that movie.

  12. Well I speak Italian so its a little different for me lol, but just the way they talk is hilarious.

  13. I can't believe you suggested Old Boy lol, that shit would kill my buzz. But at least it's not Audition... :p
Definitely need to add Grandma's Boy and holy crow you HAVE to see Toxic Avenger and throw in Killer Tomatoes too!

  14. I just watched Shutter Island, and was like "wut" haha =P

Also watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas baked was... an experience =]

  15. Haha, me too! I think Inception will have the same effect if not better.

  16. Nice, I haven't seen it yet, will definitely check it out :)

Haha maybe even a cheeky smoke just before the film :p

  17. In my opinion if you add Christopher Walken to anything it becomes 100 times better.

Here are some of mine you don't have listed

    Big Lebowski
    Pan's Labyrinth
    The Triangle
    Shrooms
Inception(haven't seen it baked but its a mindfuck)
    Shutter Island('ditto')
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Harold and Kumar 1 and 2

Check those out high if you haven't already

  18. Me either, the commercials alone have me questioning what is up/down, left/right lol.
Yes, a pre-movie smoke will be required! That in mind, I can't decide if I should go see it in the theater or wait for the dvd.

  19. Eat edibles if you see it in theaters. A smoke won't last the whole movie.

  20. Ahhh, I saw a preview for Pan's Labyrinth last night while watching the Orphanage. I want to see it but I'm concerned it's going to bring on the waterworks, lol. Is it sad?
