    At the aforementioned site, they have a link that says you can submit an email, and they will print the email out and mail it to tommy in jail... I thought this was really, really cool... I ofcourse I immediately sent in an email in hopes that it really does in fact make it to him, and he actually reads it... I figured since I took the time to write it, I may as well share the contents of the letter here, since the topic is relative...

I would just like to say I had heard the rumors about you and cheech marin getting back together to make another cheech and chong film, and then I heard about your change in legal status...     I apologize again... lol... I have learned quite a bit of stuff from you today... I did in fact read the rules just a bit ago, which is why I apologize... I believe I entered this post with the topic in all caps, which I found out isn't allowed (but I think someone fixed it? maybe you?), and before I came and saw your post here I thought i'd probably be in trouble for putting the web url (advertising), but it's non profit and all that so I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue... it's a good cause... well I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me to check out the rules etc...     While we're on the subject of Chong...has That 70's Show made any kind of gesture of support through the show or through some kind of media? He was the reason a lot of people tuned in and I haven't noticed any kind of support from them. Has anyone seen, heard or read anything that says that they are behind him or did they just let it all quietly pass by without getting involved in any way? If they're not supporting him, then I'm very disappointed.

    I haven't caught the show that often for a while, but I haven't heard a single thing about it regarding that show... I never even saw how they like removed him from the storyline... did they do something on the show? like say he left town or something? lol... or did he just magically vanish from the show ?

    He was only in certain episodes. I'm sure they just changed their storylines to not include him. I think I remember two episodes where pot was the main focus. Thats two more than alot of shows.

    I voted all nos and the one yes thats up there. :p Hes a criminal, most of us here are. Stupid definiton of criminal.

    That 70s show is awesome. I dont think they really had to edit him out though, as he only popped up sometimes. One time he was the guy selling the rings, and the weed :p I love how they smoke on that show. I wanna see like, That 70s Show VS 7th Heaven. I think the family in 7th heaven would die of shock. Do they even have a TV In their house? That show blows :/

    ...you voted that he is a criminal! :( no way man... not over some dumbass glass pipes... and he actually had alot bigger role than you guys are giving him credit for... he owned some kind of camera shop or something like that on the show, and hyde worked for him... I have personally seen like 8 or 9 episodes that had him in them... and I havent really watched it for that long... it's a good show though... hey does anyone remember "freaks and geeks"? I loved that show... and they took it off the air... that sucked...

    Well yeah I don't know how you could say he is innocent, and why he would sue?...he broke a law that wasn't being enforced, and when they enforced it he got arrested. You can't sue for being "rightfully" prosecuted. Of course I'm not saying that he should be in jail, just being realistic.

    it was a new bullshit law that should have never been passed... who gives a fuck he if he or anyone else for that matter mails someone a bong... that should never be against the law... that is insane... and anyone who thinks otherwise should definitely delete their account and leave this website... because hello, this website is an online headshop... so every one of those people who votes yes should leave this forum... it's too bad we can't see who votes what

    and he should sue because it's a complete fucking bogus ignorant law that should never be enforced or even created to begin with... all I know is thank god you can make bongs out of pretty much anything... I mean come the fuck on... we live in america and you cant smoke something out of a pipe that contains water? you can sure as hell buy a handpipe anywhere you go to, online or in person, and as many rolling papers as you want... but jesus christ don't send a pipe that can hold water through the mail... that just won't work... come on people... not enough americans stand up for their rights so we just lose more and more everyday...

    You really don't understand the situation do you? The laws say that selling marijuana paraphinallia is illegal.
    First off it has nothing to do with sending it through the mail, though that might have made the charges more serious. A lot of headshops got busted too, including a couple in my town.
    Second off, "waterpipes" aren't illegal, but "bongs" are. Anybody who didn't advertise their wares in realtion to marijuana didn't get in trouble. I'm assuming like most people on this board, you think that crack is the devil haha. Well, do you think it should be legal for somebody to owe a crackpipe just because it doesn't have to be used for smoking crack?
    Thirdly, it's not just bongs that are illegal, it's anything that is sold for the specific use of consuming illegal drugs. It's not a fun law, but it makes sense. You can only buy rolling papers and pipes because the place where you buy them at probably doesn't have a big sign saying "Weed pipes and joint papers, get em while they're hot!" If they did, they'd be at risk of getting busted.
    The point is if a drug is illegal and you sell/possess items directly related to their use in America you are liable to get in trouble.
    As for your other comments....WHOA, it's bulslhit that weed is ilegal?!?! Please, tell me more about your groundbreaking opinions!!!!
