I've heard that a lot of people don't really believe that photos of auras are very legitamite. What do yall think?
I have a picture of mine, I wasn't sure if I believed it would really work but I decided it must because I feel like the colors made sense for me.

How do you get a picture of your aura?
I have a friend who can see auras, but she isn't able to see the colors yet. She just recently developed the ability.

I was able to see aura's with practice, so was a friends of mine.

I didn't know if it was an ability or just because we have a very spiritual sense. But it fades if you ignore the gift.

Plus I was led to believe I was ignorant and evil for doing so. It's funny how even though we don't admit, words to plan a part in the back of our minds.

It could go one way or another. One acid you definitely see it, but we all know how subjective and personal the acid experience is.

Just ask Jimi.

Yeah its done with a kirliian camera. This kinda photography has been around for awhile, its already gained popularity and is being used by holistic health hospitals in europe. There are pictures round the net of these pictures taken of people before and after reiki sessions, holy people trying to give energy (a priest or something), and changes were noticed on the film. Scientifically they only officially recognize it as a "bioelectrical field" that they have only just properly started being able to detect around all objects.

I had my aura read awhile ago.

thats definitely possible. it does work similarly. but i decided to believe it worked because i felt like the colors made sense to me. like the indigo and the turqouise.
i guess it still could be a bigger, slightly more accurate mood ring.i dont think theres anything wrong with that, i like mood rings. hahah:p

thats too bad, do you try it now? i bet if you did you'd be able to do it again
people can be really mean. when i was little i was very into palmistry and tarot cards but people would tell me all the time that i was going to go to hell for reading books about it. and on the other side, kids told me i was going to go to hell because my family was catholic and catholics arent christian. i never believed them though, you just cant escape it. its the people who think like that that are ignorant.

Hmm... you must get some pretty trippy rolls. I personally am yet to experience that. But I keep my rolling pretty moderate. Two pills is my max.

I believe in auras and I believe some people see them, I'm just wondering if this is actually the aura.

I believe in auras - just not the modern version of them, which is yet another thing made up by Theosophy. This is short but interesting:

Kirlian photography is a type of contact print photography in which an object touching a photographic plate is connected to a high voltage source, creating an aura-like image. It is named after Russian inventor Semyon Kirlian (1898 – 1978), who accidentally discovered the technique in 1939.
How it Works

An object is placed in contact with a photographic plate and connected to a source of high voltage, high frequency, low current electricity (the low current makes it harmless). Small coronal discharges are created by the strong electric field at the edges of the object. The frequency of the electricity excites electrons in the object so they ionize the surrounding air.
Objects must be conductive for this technique to work. The object can be moist (e.g. a living thing) or conductive metal. A dry non-conducting object will not produce the effect.
Paranormal (Auras)

Kirlian photography is often confused with aura photography. Although the similarities are obvious, they are two very different techniques. In aura photography there is no voltage and no direct contact with the photographic plate.
Many paranormal enthusiasts still claim that the aura captured by Kirlian photography is some sort of "life force". However this is easily debunked:
  • Kirlian photographs can be taken of anything moist or conductive, including coins, paper clips, etc.
  • Kirlian photographs taken in a vacuum (where no ionized gas is present) show no aura.
  • Some people claim that a living object slowly loses its aura after it dies. This is more easily explained by the fact that it loses its moisture...."

Posted Image heehee paperclip aura:p*
ive heard that some people believe that all objects (not just living) have some sort of life force/awareness. they would definitely be interested in paperclip auras.

*i did think that was very interesting tho, im not making fun of your post i just thought a paperclip aura would be kind of funny to see.;)

Let's hear how it goes. :) You just have to look around the edges of things, especially people you vibe well with. Or objects you love, like your computer maybe.
