Vaporite Vaporizer

  1. So I just bought a vaporite vaporizer and I got ripped off cuz I bought it from some kid I know.....basically I have a couple of questions.

    1. How exactly to I get to work? I'm doing everything right but it's not heating up and it's not vaporizing the weed lol
It started to have condensation (vapor maybe?) in the part of the whip closest to the bowl pack, but no vapor actually came through the whip and into my lungs lol

    2. What's the right temperature for vaporizing bud? I was recommended to do it at 340-360 but idk if that's right.

    3. If it's broken is there a way I can fix it myself?

    4. If it's broken is there someone I can send it to that can repair it?
obviously I don't have a company warranty b/c I bought it off someone.

  2. yea 340-360 is about right

you gotta let it preheat on highest temp for about 5 min. then set it back to 360 let it sit for about 30 seconds to a min and start vaping

keep hitting it for about 5 min if your not high when your done doing all this you got a shit vape

  3. I just purchased a Vaporite Vaporizer, Searched these forums ( <-- strSideNote for Newbies ), then decided to give it a try. Before I came here, I ran a Google query, and saw someone with a post on a different site that stated he use(s/d) a Vaporite Vaporizer and vapes it at anywhere between 360 and 380 degrees. However, after having come here for a second (and third, fourth, etc...) opinion, I decided to set my toy at 325 degrees, all the while taking hits as it was still heating up. As soon as the light turned off (about some 8 and 3/4's minutes later), I'd taken nearly 50 hits total, but of course some of the earlier ones probably didn't count, but still, I did it anyway. Anyway, after nearly 9 minutes of vaporizing, I took the final hits as it was turned off and cooling down in it's temperature.

    Ummm...

    I smell nothing.

Like, I was blowing my breath into my nose to see, and I don't even smell mari... tobacco. -¿o

I don't know if there's really no odor, or if I'm just too sto... refreshed -- to smell it. I seriously cannot smell it! I can still smell my toothpaste, my soap, my toilet flushing (lol), my airfreshener (natural reaction to flushing toilet, sorry), my mouthwash, my chewing gum, my deodorant, and my Egyption Musk oil-tube-smelly-shit respectively, so obviously my nose still works, right?! So then why the fk can I not smell what I just did like 20 minutes ago!? And also, why do I feel so happy? xD

  4. aight... i have a vaporite so trust me.. turn it up all the way.. it goes to like 496.. it takes like 15 min. to get up all the way. grind up the weed pack it in the whip, you have to take long hits but you dont have to pull hard.. unless the heating element is fucked up it will work..

even with the temp all the way up the weed doesnt burn .. itll get brown, but if you can tell there is smoke its on fire and u have to turn it down

Yeah i just bought a vaporite a couple days ago. I personally start at like 240 sometimes and work upwards up to around 330. It works well for me and i get pretty stoned. My only question is why is my bud turning black? i thought it was suppose to go to light brown. My temp is a lot lower than other people say theirs is. anyone know why? it usually happens after i take a huge drag/hit off of it and it starts to taste really harsh. And no... its not like smoking bud its wayyyy harsher, maybe harsher than cigarettes. Am i burning plastic? thanks in advance

  6. I love how many people, who obviously know nothing, just love posting on the internet. Set your vaporizer to 280. not 360. depending on the effect you want you can set it higher, for more of a narcotic effect, however it will burn faster, in the same respect a lower setting will only burn the terpins that carry aroma and flavor. experiment to see what you like, and the vaped product is a great knock out high for right before bed for those sleepless nights.

  7. Here are the temperatures I use and the benefits from the various essential oils of medical cannabis. Of course with different strains comes different oils in each strain. This is my guideline and I hope that it helps you find the right temperature for your medical cannabis.

    Vapor Temperature 150*C / 301*F:
I call this the tasting temperature. You may have not released any Cannabinoids (Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) @ 146*C) yet so there is little to no Euphoric effects if you just vaped at this temp. If you really want to get the rich flavors of the Terpenoids I start here. I have been amazed at how I can taste some distinct flavors of the various cannabis strains that I have used. Floral or pine flavors come out along with wood and earth tones. The idea came to me after I found so many of the Terpenoids have a low flash point but their flavors may be getting lost to some of the upper released Terpenoids with a more dominant scent or flavor or content. So hitting one or two vapor draws at this temp before increasing the temperature allows you to enjoy some great flavors and benefits. After I hit the Cannabis at this temp, I usually will increase the temperature to 180*C for Sativa's and 190*C for Indica's and finish vaping the rest of the Cannabis or you can save it for later. This would be a good temp for people needing relief but cannot function with any of the euphoria from the THC during the day. This releases 7 of the 18 core Terpenoids including Humulene, Caryophyllene. Pinene and Farnesol which gives floral flavors. I have noticed definite anti-inflammatory benefits with some strains.

    Vapor Temperature 170*C / 338*F:

This is a great temperature for many Sativa's. This releases 12 of the 18 core Terpenoids adding many of the higher concentrated flavors like Myrcene, Sabinene, Camphene, and Delta 3 caren that flash between 160*C and 170*C. Plus you release THC and some elements of CBD. This may release elements of THCA because the flash point is close. Also Delta 8 THC and CBG are close to this temp and some effects may be felt from their oils but it should be mild.

    Vapor Temperature 180*C / 356*F:

Great daytime temperature. Though you are close to releasing CBN, which could give you a messed up feeling if the cannabis is high in CBN, overall sedation effects should be low at this temperature. You adding 3 known Cannabinoids, THCA, Delta 8 THC, CBG, plus two more new Terpenoids (14 of 18 core Terpenoids), Eucalyptol and Limonene. Sativa's high in CBG and Eucalyptol will give you more of an energy boost than coffee. Plus it is healthier! Strains like Green Crack and Trainswreck are great at this temp for energetic boost. Apigenin, a flavonoid, is released in this temperature range adding more Anxiolytic, Antiinflammatory, Antidepressant benefits.

    Vapor Temperature 190*C / 375*F:
Another great daytime temperature as well as afternoon and evening temp. Now if your Cannabis CBN content is high you may get a really heady messed up feeling that may not allow you to function normally. Plus at this temp are adding some great terpinenes and terpinolene. Now 17 of the core 18 Terpenoids have been released and if you have a great Sativa with low CBN you will be able to enjoy the Cannabis all day long at this temp or you might lower the temp to 185*C for Sativa's and vape Hybrids & Indica's at this temperature. The Flavonoid, cannflavin A, is released a known COX inhibitor, LO inhibitor.

    Vapor Temperature 200*C / 391*F:
This is the beginning of the night time temps. A lot of the terpenoids and cannabinoids that are heavy in sedatives have higher boiling points. Linool is a terpenoid with a flash point at 199 and is a strong sedative. I find those strains heavy in floral scents tend to really sedate at this temp.

  8. Personally i think all of you are completely wrong. Anything over 300 degrees is going to burn your substance and in turn you will be smoking smoke, not vapor. Try 225-240 and you will be amazed at how much longer it burns and the efficiency of pure vapor.

  9. I have tried every way above, and here are my results for the Vaporite Solo Vaporizer:
***Please note the dampness/wetness of the herb completely changes these results. These results are for properly cured Hydro that are dry dense buds.****
225-240 Is all vapor with no taste and no burning of the herb.
280 Is all vapor with great taste and no burning of the herb.
301-391 Is smoke, not vapor. Tastes like the burning of joints or bong with burning of the herb.
All the way up, then down to 360 Is smoke, not vapor with harsh taste and blackening of the herb.

So 240-280 is the sweet spot for dry cured herb.
The only times the higher temps (Over 300) worked as vapor was with very damp wet "sticky" hydro.

So there is not a set number....it depends on what level of moisture is in the herb before you start.

Best generic advise is to start low (225) and work your way up until you start getting smoke and losing taste, then dial the temps slightly back from that point. You have to do this every time you get a new batch of herbs.
