anything producing more then 10 grand cash worth of bud is considered big so anything 10+ plants could be considered big cause you would be harvesting about 7 pounds of weed by then making a lil over 14k atleast just my opinion, up here in canada when you get busted for growing if its under 10k then its a mistermeaner and not really too big a deal

the best way to get around plant coutn laws is do a freedom grow wher you grow 8 massive plants with about 3k of lights hung in your grow between plants.

I know this is an old post, but the guy Brian above who said that less than ten plants is a misdemeanor, there isn't a misdemeanor grow charge in Canada and there never will be. It is seriously illegal at any time, and you can be sentenced to up tp 7 years depending on your jurisdiction, the judge and mitigating circumstances. Across from a school, children in the house, a history of drug dealing and growing.
Canada is NOT free, while there are some jurisdictions who choose to not penalise personal users, others are hell-bent on screwing people over.
My example.
3 growing plants and 2 drying, total of 7 ounces of bud, sentence 2 years less a day house arrest. The first year on 24 hour and the second year a prohibitive curfew. No weapons, and a DNA order. FIRST DRUG CHARGE. Last conviction in 2000 for possession of stolen property.
So don't think tere is some kind of soft approach to any drugs in Canada. We are under the fascist leadership of Herr Harper and his totalitarian Gestapo RCMP.
Be warned when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
