So I decided to clean my bowl. I know you shoulnd't boil glass but whatever - I put it in a small glass bowl with water...
In the microwave... anyways I expected a lot of black shit (res) in the water but instead its almost all white specs gathered along the sides of the bowl. They're not bubbles
can anybody explain?

u should have just used alchohol, cleans it all out. and i dont know what the white specs are. ive gotten bubbles in my bowl before but thats he only thing i could think it would be

ive never heard of that, if its a spoon i just put it under the faucet and run hot water through it, its color changing so i wait for it to go back to clear

I know I shouldn't have boiled it. I actually only heated the water up a lot, because my faucet in my kitchen takes years to get hot hot.
Also, my bowls the sex, clear and turns purple and orange.
