Anyone else find it much harder to eat food when they aren't high?

    Let me elaborate a little.

I'm the kind of person that wakes up in the morning and has maybe a coffee for breakfast. Possibly something small like a cookie or piece of bread to settle my stomach, but that's usually about it.

Then I won't eat again until dinner time, and around that time I also typically smoke.

Now I've been on this schedule for a few months now and I've noticed that for the most part, during the day, I have no desire to eat what-so-ever (unless I smoke during the day). What's even more strange is when I attempt to eat something when I'm not high.

For instance, just yesterday I tried to eat something for dinner not high. It was a delicious meal I cooked for myself too; Spaghetti and Chicken Parmesan, my favorite. Anyway, if I was high (like normally) I would probably have eaten at least three pieces of the chicken with a hefty amount of spaghetti along side each serving of chicken. However, sober, I could barely manage eating one piece of chicken and half of my typical serving of spaghetti. Not to mention the enjoyment factor was not even there. It was like my appetite disappeared completely; even though I didn't eat all day (Since I have basically nothing for breakfast and I don't each lunch.) Regardless of this fact, I still had no appetite. The process of eating became complicated too. The whole time my body was like, "What are you doing, we're stuffed." When in reality, I didn't eat a thing all day.

So how many other people also experience this?

Your body getting accustomed to eating when high, so that when you're sober it makes it nearly impossible to eat.

You have tthat chronic anerexia that dale denton had ini pineapple express.
i know it's a epidemic, i have it too now...fuck. weed will have to be legal in all 50 states, damn. i know bummer. lol. jp jp damn im calming down from a buzz right now. lol.

you probably hear this so many times, yeah yeah it's "unhealthy" to do that or w.e but with the busy schedules that a lot of people have now a days it's hard to get a good meal in from time to time. which i'm assuming is the case with yyou since you mentioned besides your morning snack you wont eat untill dinner.

I'd honestly say in my opinion, wouuld be to stop the smokking, or atleast limit it so you can get your appetite and eating back up. It wont hurt your or anything. Plus it's like a T-break!!

I was in the same boat a while ago, but now it's more of a water issue with me.
I don't really have water to drink, yet i don't get thirsty when i'm high. But i still don't drinkk anything!! High or sober. When i'm high, i wana driink water, when i'm sober, i don't really have the urge to, it's gotten to a point that i'm forcing myself to drink water (which i just started doing about a hour ago). My body is telling me i don't want to drink, but i know i have to because i'm soo dehyydrated.

It's funny how the body & mind can act so differently, one tells you another while the other tells you other.

  3. i didnt read the whole paragraph but im in a hurry i dont get hungery at all i wake up not hungery and if i want to i can go an entire day without eating even for a few days if im not smoking ( which is like impossible since i love smoking to much) i just dont get hungery if i dont smoke, ive been like this for 3 years now, maybe it is what you said about your body getting accustomed to easting high i really have no idea its kinda annoying but at the same time it gives me a reason to smoke but the reason to smoke could be caused by smoking cannabis for a extended period of time i really dont know

  4. i believe temporary loss of appatite is one of the withdrawal symptoms of marijuana.it only lasts about a day or 2 for me.

  5. this is probably the best topic i've read on this forum for a while. you don't have the word WEeD in the title and no one posts. haters.

  6. Always bro. I wonder if they legalize weed if we would lose some of the obesity... hmmmm....

  7. Thats exactly what happens to me.

  8. it happens to me sometimes

  9. yeah i get that all the time

  10. Ohh you have no idea. I think I actually just have a stomach problem because I wake up every morning with the worst stomach pains. If I don't smoke I can't eat for anything and sometimes that doesn't even help.

  11. I'm too lazy to look for food and make it when it probably won't even taste real good, when my stomach doesn't feel right that's my sign that I gotta eat just because I got to.
But when I'm high that's a different story. FOOOooDDDDD!! :smoke:

  12. This has happened to me before, and IME it wasnt the weed doing that to me.
I didn't see anyone mention it here, but maybe its your metabolism slowing down? Because from what i read you arent getting anywhere near enough food during the day. Maybe you can only eat that much when you're high because you get the munchies?

When i was only eating dinner and hardly anything for breakfast i could go all day without eating and not feel hungry, but the second i smoked i would get the munchies and eat anything.
You are fucking your body up by eating like that...you should at least eat some sort of meal for breakfast or lunch (not fast food). Also take a break from always smoking before eating. Try smoking after you eat maybe? It's always fun to switch up the normal routine

  13. I lose my appetite when i dont smoke usually, but i smoke as much as possible so its usually not a problem, and i recently lost a whole lot of weight but that was with diet/exercise/smoking.

Also, you just love how food tastes while high, its just so much better, haha. And eating it sober just isnt as fun anymore.

  14. What he said is true. I used to be the same as you OP and I still kind of am. What I've started doing is eating a meal before I smoke, then eating even more after I smoke :D. Works like a charm.
What has happened to me is that I eat SO much junk/shit food when I'm high that now when I'm sober junk food is unappetizing for me. I can only eat junk food when I'm high now. Its pretty awesome. :hello:

  15. Just like experiment with the salivating dogs, if you only eat after getting the muchies, your brain is gonna associate THC with hunger.

  16. nope, I eat normally every day, high or not. I'm very health conscious, so I hardly eat while high anyway.

  17. yup 100%

spec if I take an adderall

when i smoke i beast upon the food

  18. Never happens to me. Not once. I guess I'm lucky. I always enjoy food, but I enjoy way more when I'm high.

  19. Sounds like you could get some Medical MJ! Go see if ur doctor if its legal in ur state.
