I have a dank plant that is 3 weeks old now, and in about 4 weeks i'll be leaving for another 3 weeks and the plant might have to stay alone, its already in a 5 gallon soil pot, and ive already went out and bought 2 Aqua Globes that each one lets out enough water for the plant for 2 weeks. Im more worried about the light for the plant, as i dont know if i should leave it on all for those 3 weeks, or put it by the window and let nature take its place. Also im not sure if it is a autoflowering plant or not, im worried if i left it and since its winter it might start ti flower with out me, its nice there just so happen to be a seed in a sack of some really good bud i got and i planted it. plz help and lend some ideas. thanks

Going home for xmas break eh?....me to
Even if your plant does start to flower....the light will be fine.
In the unlikely event your plant is an auto-flowering strain, you don't ever put the lights on 12/12 anyways, autoflowering is 20/4 from seed to harvest.
I would just leave it....and I wouldn't put it in the window...
hope I gave you some help...

I'd be concerned about 3 weeks without water... Start looking up and building a drip feeding system otherwise its dead.... easy as that.

wow three weeks is a long time to leave your plant alone. I was worried about like 3-5 days for xmas. good luck and look into an auto drip system.

These aqua globes..
are those those little things that you put in your soil that are supose to soak up water, and release it over a period of time?
Has anyone ever used these???

no my bag what u are thinking of are water crystals and u mix those with the soil that soak up water, these aqua globes are like thin glass tubes with a bulb on the end and u fill it with water and stick it in the soil and oxygen travels up the tube and releases water

I honestly think you'd be much better off using a timer on your CFLs rather than putting it by a window... you're definitely not going to get proper canopy coverage from a window and that plant will suffer because of it. The aqua globes don't sound like a bad idea, but keep in mind that you want the soil damp... underwatering can cause dry pockets in your rooting system... you need to make sure ALL of the rooting system will recieve the water it needs... maybe placing the aqua globes at different levels in the soil would help with that issue. Post some pics, let's see what it looks like! Best of luck with the grow, I hope it does well
