Yo wazz up? I am a mildly experienced grower and has had a few plants in that past, but let them grow outside and big and tall and let nature take its toll outside as for the flowering. I just decided to try going indoors since it is starting to get cold outside. My one problem is im pressed for time, because i'll be gone from my house for awhile and the plants will be alone also. I wanted to know if there were any tricks to getting the plants to flower early for i would like to harvest before i have to leave. If there are what the tricks and process to get themm to flower early? thanks

Yes i got that, but are there ways to be able to tell when its the ripe time or stage for it to be ready to begin flowering?

No.
There is no such thing.
MJ plants will go in to flowering stage almost regardless of age since that depends rather on the length of time light is available to them than age of the plant.
They will have to reach a certain hight first which can be from a few inches up to a couple feet (depending on strain).
If you switch your lights to 12/12 "too early" they will stay crippled and have less yield.
Excluded from the above are autoflowering strains but you didn't ask about those.

Listen to frog he knows his shit and even though you didnt ask ill offer this.... autoflowering strains will be ready in 9weeks from seed and there are several noted varrietys out there..... just search these forums for grow journals as well as smoke reports on them....if time is your enemy autos are your friend...and so are clones if that is an option...good luck

Yeah I like the way Autos work. I live in a tropical climate and plant size is not a concern for me so I have never tried them. Basically the larger the better!...lol

You risk stressing the plant going 12/12 to soon(that is what they say.)
but.
I always do 12/12 from seed and have different results each time, never hermes.
It depends on genetics mostly. Right now I have a girl that is 5 weeks into flowering, 8 inches or so tall - began flowering at 25 days from seed.
The other is about 30 inches tall, same age, and was just sexed.
