30 days of flowering cfl grow

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by A Bomb, Oct 6, 2008.

  1. This is my 30 days of flowering girl .Only about 20 days since she showed sex. Hopefully her buds will put on some weight in the next month or so. Just performed a small pruning of useless leaves to open the canopy up to some good lighting.

The other 2 are my flowered from seed plants, The bigger bushy one just showed female sex today , and the little one is still unknown, although it is 10 days younger.

  2. Comments welcome, what do you think.

  13. holy crap that's a lot of CFL watts... about how much did that run you and how did you set it up? wanna take some pics of your setup for us? :p

  14. Nice healty plants but dam for all those CFL"s you could of gotten an 250 wattt HPS for like$140. To each his own though. You will have some nice buds if your patient enought to wait for them!! have fun!

  16. My entire room cost me less than $140 and there is no way to vent any type of HID light in my closet.

I got all my CFLs over a 2 month period, all on sale, for less than 50$ Hell my daylight 26w were $3.79 for a 3 pack. What you don't see in this photo is 3 more lights that hang in front of the plant.

I have about 30,000 lumens, in order to get that I would have had to go with a 400w HID set up. I know its not the same but it's what I decided to go with. If my yield suffers greatly I will look into a HID.

  17. Good set up man. At the moment I am running 275 watts, but for flowering will have 775 can't wait to see our results!

  18. excellent!!! thats gotta be a cheap room to run for the lumens. nice high powered cfls the way to go for stealthy

  19. I dont even really notice it on my bill. Switched to cfl everything all through the house so that bought me some with room to spare. Even found 15w porch light cfls that seem to be as bright or brighter than the 65w Incand. That were in there. You wouldnt think but by replacing every bulb in your house you really do save a ton of energy. I think I figured I saved 950w total by switching 20 bulbs to CFLS . Granted they are not all on, all the time but when they are on...I'm saving.
