Not much time to type... just posting some pictures. More info tomorrow.

Growing the 5 feminized Super Haze... saving the freebies for next round.

One will be kept in veg for cloning purposes, and the other four will start flowering withing the next week. Vegging too much longer could make this closet a forest down the road.

For those that didnt follow the first grow [here] it turned out to be male... hence the frustrated emphasis on female genetics this time.

pH - 5.9
temp - 83F
humidity - 45%

those are looking real good man. I'm a total noob but u may want to get an extra fan or fresh air intake to get the temp down. Seems you have a curling problem with some leaves. How many weeks since germination? What wattage growlight u using ?looks nice.

mjboy - yes, the seeds are feminized. i wanted to guarantee at least one plant for cloning incase of problems with hermies.

PunkNDrublic -3 x 100w daylight CFL's; 1 x 120w daylight; for only 5 plants... it's not much light honestly. hoping the switch soon to the flowering stage (400w HPS, not a mac) will give things a kick. kudos on noting the curling... going to try to fix the temp prob soon. if i can keep it in the low 80's in happy...

Three weeks since germination... insane growth with some perking much more vigirously than others

more to come soon... plan to to be moving four of the ladies to rumple buckets before the weekend starts.

BC Nutes.... Got the Technaflora $19 Sampler Kit. Only comes with so much though, so I'm ordering more tomorrow (by the gallons this time)

Boost + Grow for veg

Boost + Bloom for flower

thinking about using some of the awesome blossoms, or thrive alive that came with it as well.... but haven't seen any real reason for them just yet

ThePot - Yes sir, Dutch Passion. Purchased the feminized 5 pack.

Noticing signs of over-nutes i believe.... pics coming as soon as USB 1.0 hurries the hell up, community response would be greatly appreciated.

before commenting.... when i transferred the plants to the rumple buckets i ran out of distilled water (just didnt have 20 gallons on me...) so i had to use 1/2 distilled... 1/2 tap water on JUST TWO of the rumple buckets (the other two are 100% distilled water + nutes.) waited a few hours... added nutes, then adjusted the ph of the distilled/tap buckets to 5.9

ppm of all buckets are roughly 800 (+/- 50)

leaves affected are the lowest nodes

tap water ppm was taken into account when adding nutes

ALSO... in the 5L veg container, some roots got entangled, and knots had to be maliciously worked out. 5% damage to the PHYSICAL roots max (it wasn't tangled much at all, just two "knots" i had to work out), not sure how much this affects the overall plants health though.

im pleading here

such a sad post... so i had to post a happy 'overall' picture... 10min old as of time of post

Mmmmm.....

the blue & clear tubes hanging supply oxygen to the roots via air stones. 1 dedicated stone & air pump per bucket at the moment.

:hello:

hey man i got a few questions for you because obvioulsy your pretty good and what you do haha. I was going to experiment with some hydrosystem and i thoughti had a good idea what i was going to do but i like your "rumple buckets" style. Could just give me a quick directions of how to make one of those. Also when you germinate a seed and it cracks with the intial root did you use rock wool after that stage?? i am familiar with simple things but nearing the beginning of my system i kinda what to be fully prepared.

mrlyjammn420- The design is originally called a bubble bucket, and has been around since the days of overgrow. A contributor came along by the name of Rumpleforeskin and posted his guide for making these bubble buckets on a couple web forums, and the guide is just so damn good that i had to rename the design after him for these grow cycles.

Original URL: http://forum.grassci...-step-step.html

As far as germination is concerned: Wait for the taproot to appear, then plant in 2in. rockwool cubes. Keep the cubes on a tray under flourescants in a vegetation chamber, and only using distilled water to feed the plants. Once roots emerge from the bottom of the rockwool cubes, time to put into net-pots. I use the same 6" netpot from veg throughout flowering. Once u see the roots, put a 1inch layer of (thoroughly cleaned) hydroton in the pots, then the seedling cubes, followed by more rockwool under the stem is supported.

When moving from veg to flower (DWC -> Rumple Bucket's) i just pick up the netpot (with roots hanging and all) and transfer to the buckets.

Hope this helps!

Awesome grow man.. Im curious as to how you use the net pots during veg (while not submeged in the rumple buckets) do you just tale the net pot and place in a regular pot? Then fill with hydroton?
