Nimbin trip - Bong, weed and travel pics! HQ.

    my girlfriend bought me accommodation in byron bay for my bday and we stayed there for 2 nights. but the main attraction was nearby nimbin, basically the amsterdam of australia.

    every single shop sells bongs and pipes and assorted paraphenalia, even like the general store.
    there was a hemp bar where u can just hang around and smoke bud with everyone without getting hassled, despite weed being illegal in the state.

    it was settled by hippies in the 70s, its a small town and all the shopkeepers are stoners so they smoke weed on the street and shit. i asked one of the shopkeepers where i could find some weed, and he said the girl who owned the shop next door could hook me up, and he went next door and set it all up, and we literally bought weed over the counter from the store.
    it was good value too. $10 a gram, we bought $50/5g. which is nuts considering its 3.5g for $50 around here.

    i bought a nice little bong from the shop where i bought the weed. im definitely gonna have to go back to nimbin soon. i suggest anyone who lives in australia, or anyone coming to australia, visit nimbin. its the australian stoner mecca.
