PEACE - here is my new journal - i planted the CITRAL this time - the conditions are a bit different this time - i added some more CFL bulbs (+ 2 x 55W) and removed that minibox as it didnt have anough space for new bulbs. So i have 2x 45 + 2x 55 watts. 50% humidity and temps are about 25-27C . THOSE PLANTS U SEE ON THE PICTURE ARE 10 DAYS FROM SEED and they already have dropped the roots into water becouse i made holes in the rockwool cubes to help them)))))))))) <<<<< THATS A GOOD TIP THO (IMO) thay are a little bit streched thats becouse i left em under 1 45w CFL bulb for few days - now its gonna be ok. I also planted 1 THAI HASE SKUNK seed its not germinated yet. I think ill do the 2 citrals first and let the hase skunk veg in another cab - thats all fokes - stay tuned

those streched plants are CITRALS
one of them is a bit retarted becouse 1 of the leafs fall off when it was rising through the cube - just an accident i think. no nutes yet, only ROOTS BOOST.
and im going to try the lucas formula this time. starting from 50% solution very soon.

DAY 22 from germination
DAY 8 of feeding the 50% of LUCAS 0-5-10 formula
the plants look fine (no pics yet - sorry)
i didnt havent the TDS meter thats why i was afraid to give em full strenghth ferts solution but now i do!!!
(take a look at the pics)
i want to use it for my 2 buckets with 1 electrode in each bucket
as u can see theres 2 of them
heres its features:
Displays TDS levels of the feed water and product water with in & out electrode probes.
Highly efficient and accurate due to its advanced microprocessor technology.
Auto-Off function conserves battery power. The unit shuts off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use.
Range: 0-9990 ppm
Accuracy: ±2%
Cable Length: 24.5" (including sensor)
Battery life: approx. 1000 hours of continuous use
Size: 7.6 x 2 x 4.7 cm (3 x .8 x 1.9 in.)
Weight: 79.4 g (2.8 oz.)
calibrated with a 342 ppm NaCl solution.
QUESTION FOR HYDRO PROs
any ideas of PPM level i should do for my 22 days old citral plants
having nice roots and 4 - 5 sets of leaves?
TNX in advance

Say Bro, Look's like You Have Root Rout. Are You maybe keeping the Rock-Wool to wet???
Maybe You need to post that picture in the sink plant section?? It kind of look's real bad. What are the leaves saying, & the rest of the plant??, Hope you don't have it in the root's of all your Plant's.
Hope You Get it Worked out Bro!!!
:smoke:

DAY 29
the stem trouble with one smaller bush had some healing but im not shure
i took 2 clones from that one and now waching after her if i see it getting worse it will be cloned untill nothing left
by the way the bigger citral was fimmed 3 days ago
both plants (CITRALs)
are begining to show some "unhappiness"
thats not really looking bad and i havent found anything similar
in any troubleshooting guides - i just call it unhappiness )
take a look at the pics - maybe u know whats wrong
im starting to think that its the lack of nutes
i vant to increase PPM from 500-600 to 700-800 and see how they like it
i also think that 1 meter from my HPS lights is way too far maybe i should lower it
the sativa (THAI HAZE SKUNK)
is sharing the DWC of one of the citrals and getting the same nutes solution
and its look pretty happy

I am not the right guy to ask about nutrients. But I will say it does not look like the lack of nutrients at all. Your TDS is right on the Lucas formula. I would keep it there and don't add any other crap no matter how cool the bottle looks. Your plant will grow just fine even at 50% strenght of veg formula. Plant turning yellow is lack of nutrients and they look green to me.
If you added more food, dump it out and add the right amount.
Make sure your nutrient level is one inch below the basket and not flooding your rocks. Lots of bubbles (check your pump). Keep temps below 85 and make sure your air is cycling through your grow. Put the TDS meter to use and check your water. Double check everything I have listed even if you are sure its all good.
Adding food to a sick plant will just make it worse. Keep it simple.
